The difficultly playing solo on those shooter levels is way too high. Needs more lives and shouldn't restart you from the beginning. It's just not fun. Many are complaining about this. The beat em up part is fine but not great. Slow movement with clunky controls that sometimes feel non-responsive. Overall I like it but it's not close to TMNT SR or SoR4.
Control feels stiff making harder to execute combos unlike Shredders Revenge. The lack of only 2 player online pushed it back from its full Power Rangers experience. Should be 5 to 6 players once Green Ranger is unlocked.
I have the ps5 platinum trophy. The game is indeed short but I really enjoyed it. I do agree with some of the early gripes people have but honestly by the end of my second playthrough it felt extremely comfortable and even Headache mode while yes it's tough, it never felt super unfair. There was some very scary moments where I got absolutely dumpstered by AI but I still made it through. The progression I felt from my first playthrough on hard to my third on headache was super satisfying. Being a old school fan of these games and MMPR specifically really helped my enjoyment, lots of neat little easter eggs scattered around and I enjoyed finding them. Games a solid 8 in my eyes, Shredder's Revenge and Streets of Rage 4 are definitely superior games but this one is absolutely going alongside them for me. I had a blast!
@@ApexPunisherX yeah that’s what I’m feeling, example: while fighting you’re facing one way but don’t turn around when you press the other direction. The double jump attack doesn’t always respond and outside of that, the zord levels can have too much going on at one time one screen…tmnt and sor4 are the STANDARD lol
@@MauriceDesean @apexpunisherX You guys 100% right about the controls. They need to let you cancel into rising attack during the combo and switch which way you're facing as you attack. The player's hit stop needs to be reduced a little bit too make combat feel more snappy as well. The Dive kick dosn't always come out after you do the rising attack.
What did you expect a 20 hour game shredder revenge was super short and so was streets of rage 4 or any recent beat em up game you do forget it’s made on a low budget
Streets of rage 4 is not short and also has tons of replay value. I still boot it up once a week to do survival mode. Shredders revenge is shorter than streets of rage 4 but its definitely not a short game. Played it with my nephews for thanksgiving and took us about 2 hours to beat it on “chill” difficulty.
@@MIGGYME1 I really hate the "what did you expect" type of comments from fans 😂 I expect a great game with a decent combo string, especially at $34 + tax. Doesn't have to be 50 hours, just don't have dry ass gameplay. Both tmnt and sor4 had better combat than this cash in
I am not seeing a problem for the voiceclips, voice actors for this game really try to mimic the original cast it sounds great. How many Walter Jones, David Yost or Austin St John for example would ask as royalties for their participation ? 😂 Digital Eclipse is a small team.
Ok for me, length isn't the problem. Rita's Rewind...WAY TOO HARD....And this was on Easy mode. For a game tryin to ease people into the genre and giving folks a good experiance, it absolutly FAILS at that. Controlls are Super Stiff as well. For what it is, it's ok graphicly and quality is ok but for everything else, it's an absolute failure especially when trying to get people back into the genre of Power Rangers and Beat-em-ups
Power Rangers TV cartoons and live actions both, but defienitily live action Power Rangers movies are my childhood so it's nice to get a new classic styled beat em up game for every platforms Xbox, PC, PlayStation and Switch, but i'm not getting this game yet because beat em up aren't my favourite games, but this looks cool and would work as good as TMNT Shredder's Reveng: Go go Power Rangers! 😊❤

Being a fan of both, I think Streets of Rage 4 is the best. Holy crap is that game good! But Rita's Rewind is an insult compared to Shredder's Revenge! What the hell happened!? 😬 It's good I wasn't ever a Power Ranger fan.

The shooting level on the 'eye guy' stage is too brutal! Died 5 times on normal..I just can't do it in a single player run.
