Man; not being able to switch between rangers in the single player mood; is such an oversight! I expected this to be the case as it is quite common in other bralwers these days (especially TMNT); I just assumed it would be here. The game does seem overly simplisic in terms of ablities of the characters. The Zord segements are more an homage to the arcade G.I Joe by konami. Still looks like a decent game; but like you, I really hope more improvements (likes the needed ones you mentioned) are implemented.
FYI > Ivan Ooze isn't canon. In the show, Tengas (Tengus in the movie) were introduced by Rito S3. There are no ninja powers because those were only introduced when the rangers lost their powers at the beginning of S3.
We still have the Genesis/MegaDrive Power Rangers beat em up. I think it's still a great game. Better than the SNES versions. I'm not impressed by Rita's Rewind.
Like the video. From what you were discussing the game needs a serious 2.0 update/DLC. -It should include the ability to have co-op bots, as in you pick a team of 4 (since that’s the most players you can have in one sitting) and you can swap among them throughout the game and be able to switch your team members in between levels if you wish. -Also maybe not have their weapons stuck to combos, have them out at all times and have specific weapon breakables to change the path or get a collectible -They should have different control schemes (for instance modern controller where you can use the right analog to control the aiming reticle and map the trigger buttons or retro to something akin to a snes controller). -For sure new skins, I’m thinking the obvious ninjeti, the movie ones where they have the crest on the chest, one where each of the rangers rangers have the dragon shield, and for fun where they swap colors like in the comics. -DLC should be about introducing Zedd, converting to thunder megazords, white ranger, transfer of power, and set up a large battle with Serpentera For sure will get this game, and hopefully it get a physical release soon
Main reason I pre-ordered it is because I love the original seried of MMPR, but fell off hard after the new rangers came in. Otherwise, I would have waited for reviews and sounding like a sale too. Or more post release updates, if they're planning more, that might make the title more worth it.
I think they leaned too hard on stage variety and member berries. They should have a morph mechanism, character stats, a dedicated weapon and combo attack, and a game plane for future dlc rangers. They did the bare minimum and slapped a $30 tag on it. Disappointed
This game sucked. Want my money back. Bug fan who bought to play with the kids... the kids played it once on easy for about 10 minutes and never want to play it again.

Great review! Definitely want to check out the game
@@lwh1993 thank you for watching!
Try Mighty Morphin Power rangers snes for pure Megazord action.

Cool video. Here have a subscriber...
I want a Jedi Survior style power ranger games. Enough of the throwback style games.
This game is not fun it's more work

The zord levels are a total omage or rip off to the arcade Rambo III and G.I Joe arcade games.

They should have just copied Tmnt and DD. Watch the money roll in
