That is just like me growing up. I thought I was trans but that is because I grew up very religious and thought the only way I could please God was to transition as a woman. I had no gay men in my circle growing up. It wasn't until I learned myself and found TRUE friends that I realized I was just a feminine gay man.

I feel that people get ignorant about human reality. It is no different than getting any other cosmetic surgery or a tattoo. We all go through mental changes sometimes we don't make choices for the right reasons. I believe in giving teens the room to be true to themselves. We all assume they are babies but don't think about the reality that most teens know their sexuality early in their social life. It is impossible for child to know they are straight early but another child not know they be gay at the same age range. It is parents trying to prevent sexual identity that is not heterosexual. Most parents of gay kids will always say that they knew early but denied it until they child suffers.
Bruce spent his WHOLE damn life as a man, then “decided” to become a Trans woman.. How was he/she awarded “woman of the year” and she had only recently become a Trans woman? Those accolades go to old Olympian Bruce Jenner, NOT newly trans woman Caitlyn!!! And he got all his awards back then, that should have gone to someone deserving like Serena Williams.

Yes I don't think it's a decision to be rushed or entered into impulsively at all, nor at a young age. Because being given that time to think about your decision as opposed to feeling peer pressured or influenced (like Joanne the Scammer) has been helpful for many people.
