I think it’s because they’re programmed to respond to player actions- haven’t you noticed most bosses have a specific move that they pull out when you Estus?
In all fairness rennala is actually really strong when she's in a team with somebody who has decent health, like her spells doing some decent damage and they also break the living hell out of the bosses poise
It's like she's a DnD mage that needs a tank to trully shine. ... maybe that's what they should do instead of what they've done with dlc bosses? Bring us more duo and team ups? Imagine when YOU are the boss that needs a proper party to beat.
Sometimes, I really wonder what Rennala was like in her true prime to be considered the Queen of Caria and fighting equally with the likes of Radagon... especially considering that the Rennala we fight is essentially an illusion created by Ranni in her prime, even though she never really would've known what Rennala in her prime was truly like.
Seeing how insane the combo "Renalla as a tank holding down the enemie and Rellana as a distant spell spammer" is crazy, i can understand how they school holded up the golden order to a stalemate.
Jagged Peak Drake had it real rough. He was smart enough to attack Rennala more (or maybe because she ended up aggroing over Rellana) and did some good damage on Rellana at the same time. But once staggered, he was into continuous staggerbreak for most of the fight. By the time he went out of that phase, his health was already too low.
So... Is renalla confirmed to only be as big as she is cuz the amber egg great rune is "hers"? Do great runes actually alter size? I wish we knew why some people were randomly just bigger besides gameplay perspective.
He's overtuned enough with those insane earthquakes as he is tbh. Maybe add a tiny bit more health, but the fact that it hits like sixty times is already too much, not to mention that his stance damage is like 40 each hit, meaning most bosses get stance broken every 2-3 normal ahh hits which he throws out fast as fuck.

@@leonardocarrion1996 I saw him in NG+7 fightin NG DLC bosses once. NG+7 gives him like a 2x damage scaling, meaning more than 20 scadutree fragments, and it also gives him more health and poise. He still lost to the big hitters like Radahn. I think the scadutree 20 Godfrey would be the same.
Dont do videos like this, but tested this Godfrey vs all. Results: Radahn beat shit out of him, Messmer was close enough, Midra was very close, Bayle EXTREMELY difficult, but somehow manage to win. That was with grabs, stomps break poise hard af@@leonardocarrion1996
It is fitting that only -Midra- Peakdra and -Radahn- Chadahn were able to win, being that they are the best bosses FromSoftware has ever made. That said, Romina came way closer than I anticipated. I was rooting for her. She's a great boss too.

The second Radahn fight… it’s got a lot of spectacle too, but there’s so much going on all the time that it’s a pain. I’ll put it this way: when I beat Malenia the first time I went “Wow, I can’t wait to fight her again.” When I beat Consort Radahn I went “Thank god that’s over.” Frankly, there are much better fights than Radahn just in the dlc alone. Bayle and Messmer tower way over Consort Radahn for me
@@pewpewplasma3793 i think consort radahn and malenia are very similar in the way that when the game came out malenia was hated for her difficulty. but now after the game has aged she is one of the most loved. i think the same will happen for radahn. also i think the fact that a lot is happening is exactly what the final fight needed, especially in the second phase when we are fighting a god. as soon as people learn his moves like they learned malenias they will love him
i think they should fix the ai on rennala, she love to melee way too much when they enemies are closeby........maybe even remove those 2 melee skill from her completely
It's Miquella's attack, not Radahn's, and only preparation counts. The same thing happens to us if we use this magic. If we start and end up falling by blow, the conjuration continues.

Theyre really strong together. Rellana is really aggressive and tanky while renalla has magic spam from range.
That fight between rellana and midra was so sick, but still, he overpowered her.
