Movies, games, and the occasional editorial.
From A-Z list films, video games, and other overlooked goodness.
The kid using a hotdog as a sunshade for his eyes was such an incredibly moving shot.
I think of the hotdog advocate from The Happening…
I like how the ancient artifact apparently has detailed instructions on how to blow up a shark with dynamite.
The shark blowing up is lifted from "The Last Shark" (still Italian). That shot is also in "Cruel Jaws."
Mr. Suki needs his own hotline for shark related incidents
YES!
6:17 Never get tired of the Mr. Suki callbacks! 😂
That Gordon Lightfoot reference though.... *chef's kiss*
Mr Suki really deserved his own movie
I would watch an entire "I Will Kill" trilogy
Back then this type of movie was still made without a hint of irony. Nowadays this would be an Asylum movie called Spirit Shark or something similar.
i don't think they believed they were making The Godfather tbh, they knew they were making a genre movie but tried to have fun with it anyway.I can imagine D'Amato going to a producer saying "We doing one of those shark movies, gimme money" But yeah, nothing to do with Asylum stuff
Well, there was a movie called Ghost Shark.
That was so funny all the way through! The Mr Suki clip was perfectly placed as well. Brilliant commentary and review, thanks GBF!
Damn, I have a cat named Suki. I’ll never be able to look at her the same!
That Fenslerfilms reference was on point. Time to rewatch that whole masterpiece again.
Porkchop sandwiches!

Thank you so much. I have found many great movies from this channel.
You are very welcome!
This movie is so 1980’s, I can smell Drakkar Noir in the air. Thanks, Cecil.
Drakkar Noir and Shaw Safari shirts, check, it's the 80s. ✅
that reminds me...Drakkar Noir... so i wasnt the only one..
Why is it when i read that i hear it in my head as a whisperd voice with a accent? Lol
Holy shit, I was saying to myself that intro was the perfect time for that GI Joe PSA and then your edit played. Great minds think alike my dude.
:)
Somewhere, Jaws is spinning in his grave
Which one? The one which only really got a few scars from an air tank blowing it to pieces? Or… the same shark (who obviously swallowed nitroglycerin & could fly) who was blown up by being hit by a sail boat?
10:25 "They blew up a rubber shark!" If this was an Italian production then they definitely blew up a real shark.
Nah that’s the (awful) puppet from the more infamous Jaws (unofficial remake, that’s how much is stolen) rip-off The Last Shark, like literally the same shot. I don’t know whether they had the rights but fuck it, they put it in there. Same thing happened with Cruel Jaws.
Ah it’s always good to see Mr. Suki.
I was just rewatching your Ator videos when I received a notification that you posted a new video, you just made my day!
after a hard day of work i come home to a new goodbadflicks video :D LG.. LIFES GOOD
:)
A killer Stephen King dig and a classic Gi Joe parody joke in in first 5 minutes. You are on fire.. Now who wants a body massage?
Mr Body Massage machine GO
Those sandwiches smelled so good.
Better to sweep the bay than comb the desert. The Lightfoot quip was superb.
Thank u, Cecil, for the regular uploads!
Great video, Cecil! Keep up the great work! 👏🌈✨️
Good thing I have an eye exam soon. I thought the title said "Deep Blonde" and was wondering what kind of channel GoodBadFlicks was turning into...
No way that it was a rubber shark! 😳
The special effects in here were right up there with the best of ILM.
the end credit monologue.... simply superb!...haha
Great episode, Cecil. I actually saw Deep Blood not long ago and I loved your commentary. "Jason And The Jerks" sounds like a punk rock band name, actually. I think Deep Blood did borrow some footage from The Last Shark, especially the shark model exploding at the end.
I have seen Tintorera on VHS rental, though it was a long time ago. I do remember a couple of gory death scenes and I wondered if the filmmakers used some kind of animal carcass (with a wig attached) to film a real shark feasting. The nighttime sequence with the shark attacking the tourists was a great use of flood lights.
I saw this months ago,it was awful.
Is Tiger Shark the one where it swims away with one of the two guys in it's mouth at the end?
@@Thurgosh_OG The shark does get one of the guys towards the end, but then the remaining guy harpoons the shark right in the mouth.
That damn Sheriff was wrong for telling that deputy to get that kid drunk. In the 80's you always offered the kid a smoke before booze.
Yeah but the smoke happend after you took em to a whorehouse.
I have never heard of this. But the review makes it worthwhile.👍
Danato - Damato, let’s call the whole thing off!
I saw that shark explosion scene in The Last Shark too, so maybe all sharks from Italy are vulnerable to dynamite.
I was wondering what the deal was with the kids' southern accents! I just about lost it with the Fenslerfilm reference. I see that you are in the first group as far as the "sharksploitation vs jawsploitation" goes. I'm firmly undecided so far. I think you may have to roll out a video of that "Tintorere", because that sounds too bizarre to not not be funny! Hats off to you, Cecil, and to Mr. Suki. May the two of you guide us through the dangerous waters of life.
From Filmirage, the same ppl who gave us Ghosthouse! Hey Rifftrax; we got another one here for ya!
hahaha the red fish he is referring to is a a red drum very popular saltwater game fish and they get big
Love your videos! Hope to see more about the Phantasm sequels some day :)
That Stephen King joke was definitely on point lol
:)
Ahh I love sharks-ploitation films. They never disappoint.
MR. SUKI! Had to go back and see that video. Yep, had to pause it and laugh at it again.
I love Mr Suki. :)
4:05 Oh man that was a great opportunity to use the whole Clark Griswold/ Chevy Chase funny moment from" National Lampoon's Vacation" remember Cecil"DON'T TOUCH!!!!" 😂😂
10:26 WTF? 😆😆😆
Another funny ass episode Cecil👍
3:38 - Wow, I live not too far from that building. Didn't realize this movie was filmed here (Ocean Springs, MS).
This is the most important video on RUclips
Would love to an episode on Orca
I'm going to hell. The implication of a man letting a shark eat his mistress so he wouldn't have to deal with the mess of an affair any longer nearly made me sick with laughter.
I was hoping to see a Mr. Suki clip snuck in here at some point and you didn't disappoint 😂
I aim to please :)
I know that this movie gets a lot of hate, but I recently rewatched it and I find it overall to be pretty well done! It’s just easy to make fun of but it’s way better than most people say it is!
Entertaining review Cecil😎
No wonder that "Ancient Indians" couldn't kill this demon shark. Dynamite wasn't patented until 1867.
The best way to watch really bad movies. Thank you. Till next week...
Pork chop sandwiches !
Love your video :) ❤
(0:47) Speaking of prophecy, it might be time for a "remastered" version of your early review of...Prophecy (1979)! 😉 Sorry. That's one of my favorite guilty pleasures. The TV trailer commercials alone scared the living CRAP out of me as a kid. I always loved how they tried to ride on Alien's coattails with the egg-like mutant on the poster. 😜
EDIT: clarified what I meant by "commercials" (trailers on TV).
11:56 Donato , D'mato , Lets Call the Whole Thing off.
Aw Mr Suki, I'm dissapoint! 😂
How did I missed this in '89????
Also, all the footage of the rubber shark all came from The Last Shark.
That's the most angry, "say hello to your dad" I have heard today.
Is a shame they didn't lean more into the Stephen King-ness of a group of friends prophetized to kill an evil shark
This is a vehicle for the Comedy-Writing married team of Mitzi McCall and Charlie Brill! Surprised I hadn't heard of it. They are Mr.and Mrs. TeleShowbiz. Great stand-up comedians. They have written for many popular tv shows. Looks like a funny time!
Mr Suki! Sir, you are a genius!
Sharks & Dynamite...a love story for the ages...lol
Won’t be watching this one but the narration was top notch yet again.
A movie with a literal Voodoo Shark?
What is this, Jaws: The Revenge?
Always love a reference to the old GI Joe psa dubs.
Your commentary is hilarious xD
Thanks!
Oh, that Mr. Suki- is there anything he WON’T kill?
You ask what kind of accent that one guy has. Sounds to me like he's from New York but moved to Southern California at some point to become a surfer bro and has both accents!
a G.I Joe PSA referrence? Happy days!
Ah Dynamite, my one weakness!
Shut up! "The chief tells the cop what to do." I don't know why, but that just cracked me up.
9:20 - "Sundown? I would have thought the Edmund Fitzgerald."
Gordon Lightfoot humour! 🤣
1989? The audio quality sounds more like the early 80s.
A Gordon Lightfoot joke? Wow, bravo...
I say Donato, you say D'amato. Donato, D'amato, Donato, D'amato, let's call the whole thing off.
Lovin GBFs, would be cool if some classic Animations peak your list
4:52 "tell me about college" ... and you joked "only like three of them" .. what do you think she said that would make that make sense?
HELP US MR SUKI!!!!
I forgot about that running joke
Also at 9:55 a missed opportunity for the mystery science toy boat joke
Maybe the sweaty guy keeps coming out of the water just before his scenes… HE’S THE SHARK!!
"When are they gonna get to the fireworks factory?"
8:56,You made a double unintentional Frank from Always Sunny reference "Meat Bomb" then "Human Humpty Dumpty"(Frank skinny jeans)
across the road for attention, down the road for results
Wow, a B movie I haven't seen. This is a rarity.
NOT THE PUPPY, ANYONE BUT THE PUPPY!!! Oh thank god, the puppy is safe!!!😭😊
I appreciated the Gordon Lightfoot reference.
"Oh I know its herssshhh, with all my heart and soul, yeah I stdo" If you've never seen Tintorera, prepare yourself to watch some real animal cruelty.
Lmao the GI Joe reference
where was the bathtub located?
They used the shark explosion from Great White?!
That shark better take care if they find its been creeping round their back stairs
Almost as big as that blue fish!
11:03 wait wait...
Hugo Stiglitz!?
Is this a prequel to Inglorious Basterds?
I miss renting these in Betamax format.
Deep Blood is like if Jaws had a 3-some with Stephen King's It and Tommy Wiseau.
Okay I thought that the opening music would change when the shark comes out of nowhere to eat the four kids.
Jason & The Jerks followed by Jem & The Holograms?
THe classic bathtub and cracker Specialeffects
That plot still made more sense than Inception
Or Jaws: The Revenge's novelization.
7:42 Yellow!? They couldn't even spring for RED solo cups!?
They sure did make sure to continually get shots of that Pizza Hut, in the background! Wonder if Pizza Hut was doing any financing for the production?
Like a shark to the system.
....I was hoping Mr.Suki would make an apprerance....i am happy
Fido dido poster at 7:33! Do you guys remember fido dido? Christ I'm old! UPS. Wrong channel!
Ah another lovely shark movie, another goofy one I remember watching on the Sci Fi channel was Ghost shark lol.
Ah dynamite. My one weakness.
