Whenever I practice speaking in English, I always see myself in front of a mirror so I know how I look like. Then during interviews, I imagine that the interviewer is my reflection I see in the mirror whenever I practice, and it help me a lot. Hehehe.

I suffered from social anxiety since I was in high school. It sucks big time. Fast forward to today, I am now in college and my anxiety wasn't as bad but I still get the nerves whenever I have to speak in front of other people. Honestly, I haven't had people to talk to regarding my condition but I'm glad that you can give advices to people like me. I stutter, stammer, babble, and fumble during interviews, and listening to you I realized that my problem is not really the kakaba-kaba itself because I almost always have a smooth start but rather the speaking block or mental block that occurs at some point when the questions become challenging or into stuff that I didn't cover in my preparation. I hope you can delve into this in your future videos.

Habang tumatagal bumababa ang tiwala ko sa sarili and lagi kong tinatanong sa sarili ko kung anong purpose ko sa buhay bakit ganito ako? Tinatamaan ako coach sa last part ng video, sa "pardon yourself" kasi honestly i feel so down nung last try ko po sa interview, and parang mula nun na trauma na ko. Kaya di na ko nag ta try mag apply for other position or sa ibang company dahil dun sa fear ko from that time. Nkpag prepare nman po ako, pero feeling ko it's not enough during that timw kaya di ko na win yung 1st level interview 😅 Pero salamat po sa mga tips like this, para mas ma-improve ko pa ang sarili ko. Yes, po. Parang same lg sa mga exercises nya at tinuturo dito. Mas mahirap lg talaga yung English Vocab kasi ang lalim ng mga words na ginagamit nila at oras talaga yung kalaban mo. Pwede pong gamitin sa pgsosolve yung test booklet na binigay nila sa inyo.
So practical are the principles. I feel I'm talking to my interviewer - No sugarcoating and direct to the point. I heard what I need to hear. You're a great help Ms. Lyqa God bless you more with wisdom.

Na experience ko last saturday na interview po ako sa BPO company, that is my first job interview. Sobrang kabado although nag memorize and na review kona resume ko. kaso lahat po ma na memorize ko is ligwak nagka rumble rumble mga sentences and grammar ko. First station upto 4th station ng interview pumasa. Pero mung nasa final na OMG. Tell me about yourself, na hindi mo sinabi sa mga interviewer a while (Diko alam i english ate lyqa pero yan pagkakaintindi ko) grabe nag story telling po ako sa past life ko, tapos after ko magkwento, okay we will call you if you past or fail thank you. Then totoo po sinabi niyo na kapag mali yung sarili natin dipo natin kaya patawarin . Ayun Hindi po ata ako nakapasa sa final interview hanggang ngayon hindi pa din po sila nag memessage. I can totally relate to the "Forgive yourself part". I once applied in an ESL company and I got to the demonstration part. I mistakenly corrected the student's answer to a question where in fact the answer was already grammatically correct. That time I really felt frustrated about myself. However, I miraculously got hired regardless of that error. We are humans and making mistakes just proved that we are indeed one.

Sobrang agree po ako sa Pardon. May problem po ako when it comes to speaking. I get anxious to the point na nahihirapan akong huminga, nag da-dry ang throat ko kaya inom ako ng inom ng water, naluluha ang mga mata, or nag me-mental block ako. Dati, sakto lang naman po ang kaba ko during interviews dahil hindi masyado ako nag e-expect ma hire agad kasi fresh graduate at gusto ko lang gumala muna, pero ang problema ko nung nag seryoso na ako sa paghahanap ng work at maraming interview na ang pinagdaanan ko, hindi ko malimutan ang mga mistakes ko sa interviews until such time na iniisip ko na bobo ako, ang tanga ko simpleng bagay lang nagkamali ako. Tapos habang tumatagal naiipon siya at ayun na nga kapag na interview ako halos di na ako maka hinga. Dumating sa point na ayaw ko ng mag apply ng trabaho dahil natatakot akong ma interview. Kaya na isip kong mag take ng IELTS exam to boost my knowledge at confidence dahil may review naman. During sa speaking exam ko, inatake ako ng sobrang kaba to the point na parang nag papanic na ako. Inom ako ng inom ng water at ayun nga in the middle of my interview na bulol ako, yung bulol na akala ko at ng interviewer ay na stroke (no joke po!) na ako. Thank God, na bawi ko naman at na tapos ang interview. Di man kataasan ang nakuha kong score but salamat sa Diyos at naka pasa naman ako. Nagamit ko din yung experience na yun when I had a language exam. Although, sobrang kaba ko pa rin pero at least di na to the point na parang nagpapanic. Thanks for this video! Kase dikona po alam nangyari saken these past few years. Halo halong ego, stubborness, lack of confidence, fear, not stepping out of comfort zone etc. .. nandito n po ako sa point na 23 na ako pero wala padin ako kwenta. Everyday kalaban ko sarili ko even mga ate ko, si mama nagwoworry na saken. I pray Ate na this time maovercome ko. Gusto ko ng change, gusto ko pa makabawe kina Mama. I claim and I pray na eto na yunt actual year para saken sa mga nasayang kong years, mga stagnant kong years. I claim eto na!!!
Ever since, sobrang mahiyain talaga ako. wala akong self-esteem. Kaya marami akong pinagsisisihan sa buhay ko. Kase 26yo nako pero wala pa rin akong nagiging huge achievement. Nung 2015 nakagraduate nako sa college pero after nun hindi ako agad nakahanap ng work dahil hindi talaga ako prepared. Hanggang ngayon wala paring direksyon ang buhay ko. Lagi akong nag-ooverthink. Kaya nung 2019 nag-aral ulit ako 3rd year nako sa BS in Tourism Management ngayon. Dahil sa advices nyo po, parang na-enlighten ako para maging successful ako in the future. Nakakaba po talaga yung nasa virtual meeting kana mismo sasabihan na " Ms. Eliza, would you please give us a feedback about what we discussed today?". Yun yung time na nasa isip ko na "bakit ako pa?". Pero kinakalma ko nalang po yung sarili ko at sasabihin sa isipan na "It's okay don't panic, isipin mo challenge lang yan sayo para mas mahasa ko yung communication skills ko at ikabubuti mo rin iyan". To think na hindi ako sanay magsalita na maraming nakikinig. Pero pagkatapos, parang nabunutan ng tinik yung lalamunan ko at the same time proud sa sarili kasi kahit unprepared ako hindi ako linamon nang takot. So thank you Lord at hindi nya ako pinabayaan. I suffered severe anxiety since high school (I'm now 3rd year college). I always experience shortness of breath and heavy palpitation. One time, tinawanan ako ng mga kaklase ko kasi di ako makahinga while reporting and sobrang mas natakot na ako magsalita sa harap ng tao. Pero now, tinatry ko na magprisenta magreport, ginagawa ko lang magpeprepare ako ng super and mas nagiging confident ako. Still bad at it though but I'm trying and iniisip ko nalang na kapag nagkamali ako malilimutan din naman nila after time pass. I always watch vids like this (thank you!) para mas mabawasan pa kaba ko and I love reading other experiences and kung paano nila nalalagpasan ang kaba. Kaya natin to guys!

Natatandaan koparin till now kahit college na ako ako na dinuroduro ako ng teacher ko sa elementary and kinukumpara sa ate ko na naging studyante nila noon. Bat daw yung ate ko matalino, yung ate ko mabilis matuto, tas ako hindi and isa pa nung senior high ako noong may interview para sa immersion ipinahiya ako ng teacher ko na isa sa nag Interview sakin dahil tinatanong lang daw nya ako ng ilang questions pero diko daw masagot ng maayos. Tumatawa pa sya habang ginagawa yun, at syempre pinag tawanan ako ng nga classmates ko Diko talaga makalimutan mga bagay nayon till now Kasi isa yun sa mga reasons kaya nawalan ako confidence sa sarili💔

I think when you say greatest achievements it could be anything that you did to make your life better. For me i answered that question wth. For me my greatest achievements in life is being a single mother. Bcz i raused a 3 beautiful children on my own. Raising children alone is a great achievements.

my sister just offered me her job as a call center agent today because she will be working as an HR soon. I was clueless and don't know what i'm going to do since i did not really see this job offer coming so soon. I am still studying and currently at my 4th year college as an IT student and I doont have that much skill in communicating and socializing with other people specially when I speak in english is such an embarrassing and disaster! I suffered from social anxiety since I was in high school. It sucks big time. Fast forward to today, I am now in college and my anxiety wasn't as bad but I still get the nerves whenever I have to speak in front of other people. Honestly, I haven't had people to talk to regarding my condition but I'm glad that you can give advices to people like me. I stutter, stammer, babble, and fumble during interviews, and listening to you I realized that my problem is not really the kakaba-kaba itself because I almost always have a smooth start but rather the speaking block or mental block that occurs at some point when the questions become challenging or into stuff that I didn't cover in my preparation. I hope you can delve into this in your future videos.

Sobrang nawawalan na kasi ako ng pag asa mag apply kahit di ko pa nasisimulan after ko magresign sa previous work ko and it's been 5 months na wala akong work. Ngayon pinag aaply na ko ng parents ko at ang kinakatakot ko sa lahat ay ang interview. Habang tumatagal bumababa ang tiwala ko sa sarili and lagi kong tinatanong sa sarili ko kung anong purpose ko sa buhay bakit ganito ako? Kahit na graduate ako ng college nandto ako sa bahay nakatambay pero yung mga dati kong classmate professional na. I really don't know what to do with my life. Thank you ate Lyqa. Habang pinapakinggan kita parang naiiyak ako at gusto ko magconfess ng nararamdaman ko. Ilang beses kong gustong ipaliwanag sa parents ko na hindi ako okay at hindi ako ready pero ang totoo, nawalan lang pala talaga akong confident dahil sa naging experience ko. Tinatamaan ako coach sa last part ng video, sa "pardon yourself" kasi honestly i feel so down nung last try ko po sa interview, and parang mula nun na trauma na ko. Kaya di na ko nag ta try mag apply for other position or sa ibang company dahil dun sa fear ko from that time.
Nkpag prepare nman po ako, pero feeling ko it's not enough during that timw kaya di ko na win yung 1st level interview 😅

Yes, po. Parang same lg sa mga exercises nya at tinuturo dito. Mas mahirap lg talaga yung English Vocab kasi ang lalim ng mga words na ginagamit nila at oras talaga yung kalaban mo. Pwede pong gamitin sa pgsosolve yung test booklet na binigay nila sa inyo.

Na experience ko last saturday na interview po ako sa BPO company, that is my first job interview. Sobrang kabado although nag memorize and na review kona resume ko. kaso lahat po ma na memorize ko is ligwak nagka rumble rumble mga sentences and grammar ko. First station upto 4th station ng interview pumasa. Pero mung nasa final na OMG. Tell me about yourself, na hindi mo sinabi sa mga interviewer a while (Diko alam i english ate lyqa pero yan pagkakaintindi ko) grabe nag story telling po ako sa past life ko, tapos after ko magkwento, okay we will call you if you past or fail thank you. Then totoo po sinabi niyo na kapag mali yung sarili natin dipo natin kaya patawarin . Ayun Hindi po ata ako nakapasa sa final interview hanggang ngayon hindi pa din po sila nag memessage. I can totally relate to the "Forgive yourself part". I once applied in an ESL company and I got to the demonstration part. I mistakenly corrected the student's answer to a question where in fact the answer was already grammatically correct. That time I really felt frustrated about myself. However, I miraculously got hired regardless of that error.
We are humans and making mistakes just proved that we are indeed one.

Sobrang agree po ako sa Pardon. May problem po ako when it comes to speaking. I get anxious to the point na nahihirapan akong huminga, nag da-dry ang throat ko kaya inom ako ng inom ng water, naluluha ang mga mata, or nag me-mental block ako. Dati, sakto lang naman po ang kaba ko during interviews dahil hindi masyado ako nag e-expect ma hire agad kasi fresh graduate at gusto ko lang gumala muna, pero ang problema ko nung nag seryoso na ako sa paghahanap ng work at maraming interview na ang pinagdaanan ko, hindi ko malimutan ang mga mistakes ko sa interviews until such time na iniisip ko na bobo ako, ang tanga ko simpleng bagay lang nagkamali ako. Tapos habang tumatagal naiipon siya at ayun na nga kapag na interview ako halos di na ako maka hinga. Dumating sa point na ayaw ko ng mag apply ng trabaho dahil natatakot akong ma interview. Kaya na isip kong mag take ng IELTS exam to boost my knowledge at confidence dahil may review naman. During sa speaking exam ko, inatake ako ng sobrang kaba to the point na parang nag papanic na ako. Inom ako ng inom ng water at ayun nga in the middle of my interview na bulol ako, yung bulol na akala ko at ng interviewer ay na stroke (no joke po!) na ako. Thank God, na bawi ko naman at na tapos ang interview. Di man kataasan ang nakuha kong score but salamat sa Diyos at naka pasa naman ako. Nagamit ko din yung experience na yun when I had a language exam. Although, sobrang kaba ko pa rin pero at least di na to the point na parang nagpapanic. Thanks for this video! Ever since, sobrang mahiyain talaga ako. wala akong self-esteem. Kaya marami akong pinagsisisihan sa buhay ko. Kase 26yo nako pero wala pa rin akong nagiging huge achievement. Nung 2015 nakagraduate nako sa college pero after nun hindi ako agad nakahanap ng work dahil hindi talaga ako prepared. Hanggang ngayon wala paring direksyon ang buhay ko. Lagi akong nag-ooverthink. Kaya nung 2019 nag-aral ulit ako 3rd year nako sa BS in Tourism Management ngayon. Dahil sa advices nyo po, parang na-enlighten ako para maging successful ako in the future. I suffered severe anxiety since high school (I'm now 3rd year college). I always experience shortness of breath and heavy palpitation. One time, tinawanan ako ng mga kaklase ko kasi di ako makahinga while reporting and sobrang mas natakot na ako magsalita sa harap ng tao. Pero now, tinatry ko na magprisenta magreport, ginagawa ko lang magpeprepare ako ng super and mas nagiging confident ako. Still bad at it though but I'm trying and iniisip ko nalang na kapag nagkamali ako malilimutan din naman nila after time pass. I always watch vids like this (thank you!) para mas mabawasan pa kaba ko and I love reading other experiences and kung paano nila nalalagpasan ang kaba. Kaya natin to guys!

I think when you say greatest achievements it could be anything that you did to make your life better. For me i answered that question wth. For me my greatest achievements in life is being a single mother. Bcz i raused a 3 beautiful children on my own. Raising children alone is a great achievements.

Me too sobrang kaba ko po kapag ngaaply lalo na when it comes to interview. 1st time ko po apply in bpo and suddenly nabanggit ko sa interview yung pause ko instead uhmm ang nasabi ko ay "ano" but i continue to talk about myself and naovercome ko naman po sya. my sister just offered me her job as a call center agent today because she will be working as an HR soon. I was clueless and don't know what i'm going to do since i did not really see this job offer coming so soon. I am still studying and currently at my 4th year college as an IT student and I doont have that much skill in communicating and socializing with other people specially when I speak in english is such an embarrassing and disaster! But watching videos about this really gives me comfort and confidence and Ms. Lyqa really helped me a lot! now I know where to start and I can't wait to step out of my comfort zone.
