This is a great video!!!!!!!! I loved it. I am learning ArcGIS for a waste collection management project and optimization of waste collection route is part of it. It will help me a lot this video in the future.
Well done. What a fantastic explanation. I had an error message when I tried perform the network analysis. The error is "No route from location one to Location two. SOLUTION NOT FOUND"
Good day Dr. I've been watching your videos for an inspiration for my GIS project, and I am processing interpolation IDW. I have a sediment data of different type of heavy metals concentration. I was thinking of doing IDW interpolation of those data. But also it seems too basic and simple. would you mind suggesting more analysis to be done from the interpolation data of those metals. do mind I am a newbie in arcmap would love your take on this!
Thanks for your comment. The more advanced version of interpolation is kriging. However, I think IDW is quite appropriate for a beginner. More information about kriging: desktop.arcgis.com/en/arcmap/10.4/tools/3d-analyst-toolbox/how-kriging-works.htm
am i able to use this to map an indoor space such as my school, will it be able to route to the different z-axis in the building, and will i be able to import a map from revit or sketchup to have a base map to add the data points
Explanation is crystal clear and most easy to understand.
Thanks for watching.
Clear and concise. No wast words.

How to export "directions" as excel in arcgis pro?
How I develop street and road map for my specific area?
You need to download the data (street roads) that has a speed limit field if your cost field is travel time.
