If the husband dies or divorces her, what does she have to fall back on? 1/4 or 1/8 inheritance which may be little or caught up in delay… righteous children to take her in or if she’s lucky parents or brothers? Is it not wise to provide a financial amount to her (based on the absence of the above) so she can have shelter & food for the period of mourning at least or even, a year so she can get back on her feet? Especially if she wasn’t working or studying during that time…
no. she should have had a high mahr and she had her iddat covered, which non muslims do not get. since women have stopped four marraiges they have made themselves worthless.
Bismillah Is the amount of Mahr very important? Mahr is a requirement of a marriage. The important thing is that the man we would marry is good in deen and akhlak... And he is a reponsible one. But if he wants to give much (according to his capacity) to express his love...Alhamdulillah. And also to honour himself in the eyes of his new family. .
Ppl asking for insane mahr then we have our brothers and sisters in Palestine dying and cannot even BREAK their fast! 🤦🏻 Astaghfirullah
May Almighty Allah see you through 🙏🕊️
May Allah help them.
But a question. Is it forbidden to as such questions, because there’s war going on right now in Palestine?
Agreed 💜
