I'm a 29 year old guy who was not familiar with Hatsune Miku's songs before. However, I recently became a fan of hers. When I watched this performance I cried. I usually never cry because I'm a man. But I couldn't hold back my tears because it was so beautiful.
I'm 24 and found miku at 12 back in like 2011. Forgot about her until a few years ago and was surprised the Fandom grew even larger. Also no shame man, dudes can cry too.
At 3:08 Miku's voice sounded so emotional and powerful. It's very impressive, and it proves how amazing she is. (By the way, am I the only one who noticed The Disappearance of Hatsune Miku's instrumental playing during 2:14?)

younger me was very enamored with art poems, growing up you would think it would be the work of a famous poet that would shape my views going forward, it feels weird now that it's a virtual idol whose songs are wrote by somebody who's as regular as can be me whose songs resonate most with me, I'm very glad for this unlikely match and to have known about it early on in my life

That really depends. Beside the special models (different costumes, etc) they also have different normal models. They most used one (also the one in the video) is the standard Hatsune Miku Concert model, it does not really have a name However in some newer concerts they also use the „Hatsune Miku R3“ model (which is actually a whole different technology than the usual models). The older concerts (MikuPa) used the standard „Hatsune Miku Sega Default Version“ model, which is also used in many older Project Diva games (the newer ones have a slightly modernised/improved version of it I think)

The fourth installment in Crypton Future Media’s annual “Magical Mirai” concert series, this 2016 third-dimensional live concert took place at the Makuhari Messe International Exhibition Hall in Chiba over two nights in September 2016. The main visual was illustrated by LENA[A-7], and the concert was accompanied by a three-day exhibition which included toys, artwork, and a life-size Miku statue designed after the main visual of the concert. It received a Blu-ray and DVD release on December 21, 2016 and is also the first official one to not have any works by ryo or wowaka included within its setlist. Its official theme song is “39 Music!”, composed and produced by Mikito-P.
