Love the car and I am getting my Borla axle back Thursday I will be cutting that suitcase off and throwing on the quad tip diffuser didnt like the Atak a little too loud I went with the Stype what people don' know is these V8's don't sound good raspy and loud they sound great with a deeper tone and Borla delivers without the drone..
Sounds like a beast it never gets old. I will definitely do something with my stock exhaust I will wait a bit. I just got my 2018 Camaro SS but it is not that bad it pops and has a nice growl 👍🏻
Thanks I'm loving it. And the stock SS with the NPP honestly sounds amazing for a stock exhaust, and it pops like crazy. I just needed something a little louder
Go nearly the same car..literally..color and all. Still under warranty so gonna just do a catback exhaust to give it more sound. Hyper Blue Metallic is the most incredible color with all black accents!!
I really miss the old school camero sound ...seems the newer cameros have a boat sound ..i had a scarab 22' big block and it sounded like a camero..gurgle sound ..i know with a cam this will change but dang there's got to be a way around this gurgle sound..a tune like mustang have
Atak is recommendation for the loudest and most aggressive sound. S-Type is recommended if you want a louder and more aggressive sound, but nothing too crazy
I gott news for you. After about 40k miles and age the NPP gets deeper and less raspy. Has something to do with the metal of the muffler getting seasoned. Mine is a 17' SS 6 speed. almost 53k miles on my NPP now. Sounds a lot better than when new.
Damn my car will never hit 40k miles. I bought a 22 2ss 1le manual and thinking about getting the 3” atak npp catback. However its only a fun summer commute and track car. I was only able to put 2000 miles on it before i put it away for the winter. With that average i need 20 years to put 40k miles on it lol
@eddie626sgvable Would you prefer the Atak on a V6 or the S type on a V6. I think if I had a V8 I would go S type because I don't need the Increased Yell from the Atak. But with a V6 would you suggest an atak for a V6? I own a Chevrolet Camaro 1LT 3.6L engine with V6 and RS package.
How tall are you? before I got my camaro 2017. I was hesitant for the same reason. I’m pretty short, 5’3. Honestly they make it seem like you can’t see shit, but you get used to the different view pretty fast, within a day or two. I even put some louvers and can see pretty fine. Now having people in the back seat it’s a different story, they’ll be rubbing their heads against the roof.
@@OmarReyes-vf1dd I am 6’1 almost 6’2, the back seats little room was a deciding factor for me. So I went with a scatpack charger. I test drove a 2018 2ss and it really wasn’t terrible visibility wise. Both real nice cars
Next-Gen Speed Bet ima get non npp as well since I always have it loud too, quick question though: For the npp actuators on the stock muffler, did you have to reconnect them to the connector wires before zip tying? Or no just left them on the stock muffler and zip tie the wires without the actuators?
@NextGenSpeed I have a Chevrolet Camaro 1LT 3.6L engine with V6. I am gonna probably purchase that Rear Diffuser u linked in another comment. But will product #11926 Axel Back S type work with my model and Make. I don't think I have NPP either
Get cherry bomb glass packs and never ever change them. Kidding. I have the s type on a challenger with headers. Louder than atak without headers. But.....no drone. If you want loud on top of loud get some cheap flow masters and enjoy the drone.
Great video. It’s definitely deeper but the volume of both sounded very similar to me. Did it have that constant deep tone at idle?

Is your stock exhaust npp? How much better is borla than npp?
The stock sound was not so bad.
Go nearly the same car..literally..color and all. Still under warranty so gonna just do a catback exhaust to give it more sound. Hyper Blue Metallic is the most incredible color with all black accents!!
would you go with the Atak model at all? and why
Does it pop still like with the stock exhausts
Justin T. Yes it’s a popcorn machine😂
@@NextGenSpeed sweet. I'm ordering the s type cat back for my 2020 2ss
@@NextGenSpeed you should delete secondary cats and itll pop alot more and give it a better idle 💯

How much does a borla exhaust cost
Will the S-type or attak axle backs work for a 2012 LT Camaro?
Yea
Such a great product. I had a borla exhaust on my old 95 Z-28 Camaro and it sounded like there was a fucking lion in my trunk!
Is that the American authority rear bumper? With diffuser? If so did you have to take the bumper off for install? And how do u like it?
No this is the stock bumper with our Quad Tip Glossy diffuser available below. The bumper is not required to be removed, but does help the install.

What exhaust do you recommend for a CAMARO 1LT 1LE V6? THE S-type or the Atak?
Atak is recommendation for the loudest and most aggressive sound. S-Type is recommended if you want a louder and more aggressive sound, but nothing too crazy
It sounds bad ass.

Hey just wondering did you remove the resonator or it's still on and how much of a difference would it make sound wise removing that?
No I did not. I do not recommend that as it tends to make the car raspy
@@NextGenSpeed thanks for the info bro. Getting the borla installed right now
@@eddie626sgvable do u like it?

Sounded good to me
Hey do you have a manual or are you just pretending to shift rn 😂😂😅
How tall are you? I’ve been looking at some and have heard a couple complaints about seeing out the car with the limited ability?

Thush mufflers with no tail pipe sounds old school .I miss it.
Get some long tube header n a 3800 stall. Trust me my l99 sound louder then an hellcat
Terrell Johnson what’s a 3800 stall ?
@@longisland5161 modify the automatic to launch at 3800 rpm
A stock hellcat for sure
Louder is not always better
My next purchase.
Nice SS 👍🏼 I love Borla and I would have gone with the ATAKs myself. Have them in my ‘14 SS , AT4 6.2L and my ‘05 Mustang GT.
Sounds good! What did you do with the npp actuators? Only curious because I have a camaro ss aswell and I’m looking into an exhaust
This is the style without the actuators, and I just deleted them to have them open all the time.
Ok cool and you didn’t get a check engine light?
thank you for sharing now i know that. i hope have more vedio.
Why did you remove your rear diffuser to install the exhaust?. Its not necessary. This is the first time Ive seen someone do this.
Yes you're correct. I just wanted to reinstall the diffuser while it was up there, as the fitment wasn't as nice as I wanted it at first
Where can I get the rear valance/

Idk personally I like the Corsa Xtreme better
FilipinoFLASH Me too but it was a little out of my price range
Honestly borla is better, Corsa just seems trying too hard and borla got the 🔥 deep tone. But Corsa does sound better on the dodge scattys n shit
COrsa is way better than borla. It’s deeper as well
My Tesla family sedan will crush this and also doesn’t sound like a bear getting run over by a tractor
And how much did you spend? I bet it's more than he paid for that Camaro.
