- In this episode the boys continue their epic cape york adventure down the Wenlock River! Fishing produces huge Saratoga, heaps of Sooties and Barramundi. WIll the river be deep enough to make it to Moreton Telegraph Station? And where are they off to next? The old telegraph track? The tip? Or maybe an all new destination?

Epic lads! Loved the tinny mission 👌
Cheers mate!!!
Fellas those drop off sand ledges are where the Barra sit at. I haven't seen you guys yet work one of those drop offs where it goes from shallow to deep. Just a tip
Thanks mate, we are slow learners but the next couple of eps in upcoming weeks do show us working those drop offs finally.
Loved it! One of the best little series I’ve watched on the tube I reckon. Epic trip with the boys. 👍🏻

Cheers mate!! It’s was a bloody great trip and more fish to come in the salt!! 🙌
Good watch fellas. Just wondering did you leave your vehicle at the start or did you have it brought back to pick up point. Cheers
Yeh we left a vehicle at each end. A bit of stuffing around but it's the only real way you can do it unless you've got someone to come and pick you up when you're done.
The river wraps back to the beginning
That’s looks like good fun
So much fun!! 👍
I have loved this content 🤙🏽🇦🇺
Cheers mate!! Thanks for watching!! 🍻
Take the big boat out to Vyrila Point on the Western Side of Cape york Lads. Epic camping at the furthest most tip of the Point
Yeah I have camped out there before it was shut. Would love to get back there it’s amazing.
Great trip guy's , be a bit scary falling in 😀
Cheers mate!! Not so bad in the shallow sections but would be terrifying in the deep water 😬
Nice vinegar stroke for that end of the trip, keen to see what you get up to in is it Weipa or Aye Karumba? Bigger Crocs, badass muddies and the threat of being forced to drink VB? Dangerous country no doubt 🤣
Thanks mate!! Heading out to Penne next episode 🙌
@@TrueNorthAdventures I'll be waiting for that Bell haha!
Did you have to charge the batteries for the electric motor ?
Not at all. 100ah lithium battery lasted the whole 3 days and we didn’t go easy to try and save battery.
Hey guys how big was the PB toga ??
720mm 👍
My favourite fish to catch ,mine is 73 in central Qld . Have seen them caught in the mid 80’s
Brilliant 👏
Thanks mate🍻
Very entertaining I like it a lot better than all for drama ? This is something most of us can do much more realistic cost wise
Cheers mate!! Thanks for watching!! Yes it's a very affordable trip. The whole tinny setup cost us about $1000 and throw in some camping gear and you're ready to go! A pretty cheap holiday if you ask us!!
DAMN I LOVE U GUYS.
🥰
Hey boys, looked like a sick trip.
Did the band aide competition get drawn?
Hi, yeah mate got drawn and sent out the prizes a few weeks ago. Going to have a few more prize giveaways soon… across both Instagram, RUclips, Facebook so follow along on those platforms too if your not already. Cheers
what a ripper trip 👍
Cheers mate!! Was seriously the trip of a lifetime for all of us!! 🙌
this is the best…..
Thanks mate!! 🙌
Can't beat Mark's toga.
Yeh it was a ripper fish!!! New trip coming up soon so see if we can top it!! 🤞
SARATOGA 🐟
So much fun!!! 🎣
Sooty
Also the biggest sooty we’ve ever caught.
keep it to your self boys. have fun show your mates. don't advertise that river. too many locals use it. pretty selfish I thought
Cheers for watching mate! There are plenty of other videos showing the same trip and a lot of them put on there by the locals that do it every year. Thats how we did our research before doing it ourselves.
@TrueNorthAdventures cheers true North probably a bit harsh by me hope you had fun
Nah thats understandable mate. We are definitely not in the game of giving away peoples secret spots or locations. We purposely picked a different section of the river that isn't usually done by anyone and at 300km long there's plenty of other sections of the people could do the same thing. Even other rivers like the Archer and Jardine could be done the same way.
