Hey I think E!Ike neutralizes his debuffs from Grand Strategy, which means the only thing L!Robin provides for him is the grand strategy effect icon. Ike doesn’t benefit from unity, his weapon negates the debuffs so he’ll never get the bonus stats. Its better to just run your Askr permanently, or even a brave robin to counter scowl.

Yeah I kind of realized that afterwards, but I already committed! And in the end I guess it didn't really matter for Ike, especially since I ended up never using that team.

I actually have two teams for AR-O. Galeforce with W!Edelgard and Omnitanking with E!Ike. Because a lot of my matches and even my friends in mockup matches uses warp bubble, gatekeeper and green near saves, 80% of my matches are Omnitanking.
Pretty sure nowadays a lot of defense will now try to counter E!Ike as opposed to only countering W!Edelgard.

hello DTM! do you think winter edelgard falls off nowadays? it seems with the rise of strong tanks with flat DR like emblem ike, running fairly reliable units who do well with AOE (b!gullveig) or base edelgard even seems better overall. been thinking of running galeforce but it's hard to get the precharge aoe off without a velouria haha

I think she's still pretty good as a followup galeforce unit, especially now with the WoM echo skill she can run a beast b to always get the transformation for turn 1 stuff.
