I flew from Heathrow to Phoenix many times, mainly by 747. Was that a 777-200? I’m surprised it made the journey, from experience it’s usually a twelve/thirteen hour flight
Hopefully San Diego will soon see the return of the BA 777, we always would like to toast its arrival from our garden during happy hour - and the fact we’ve taken that route to London a few times.
@17:47 ... That CRJ-900 an interesting find, clearly that bird was flying for Delta Connection and now American Eagle - I assume both for SkyWest. But in revenue service w/o titles seem unusual. I'm betting it can be quite common place.
SkyWest, and Mesa Airlines both have a few aircraft in brandless liveries, that they can shuffle around as spares to operate for Delta, American, wherever they need them at anytime
Wish southwest would do a retro fleet with a few of the newer 737s...specially hybrid one....it was all white and had blue stencil writing.....can't find a vid but it was in their lineup back in the late 90s 00s
@@miguelbarrero5572 I don't think the Landor 747 s were delivered until later and there were only three of them. When I started crossing the pond with BA they were BOAC. I'm off to London 10/18 but the 777 is just not the same. It lacks the style and visible impact of the 747. Really miss it.
@@miguelbarrero5572 Miguel..I'm not disagreeing with you. Just saying I miss the 747. Do you remember when they switched to that awful tail art. So glad they changed that.
Good video once again but even though I'm British, i hate British Airways just as much as I hate American Airlines. Both are as shit as each other.. when I come to the states I use Southwest airlines or drive and when I'm.ba k in Britain I use eadyJet or a train or drive. British soldiers don't earn enough to fly with expenses British Airways who treat economy (coach class) passengers like dirt.
The British 777-200ER is what I came here for to see, remarkable catch!
British Airways has returned to Phoenix(PHX)! About time! That airport can restart their Phoenix-London flights again.
yes but this time there using twin jet engine plane, no more 747 400 because they've junked them.
@@Perich29 im pretty bummed about that too
Best runway views I have seen from any plane spotters sites.
Loved the Southwest 737 in the original gold livery! Great catch!
I used to see the BA747 flew over lot of time when I lived in scottsdale. I wonder if BA would send A-380s to Phoenix?
Beautiful video ❤❤
777 and MD-11 😍
PHX I miss you!
Nice presentation. Liked it so much I decided to subscribe. Look forward to more.
I'm flying LHR-PHX this May, looks like they're swapping to the A350-1000 for the summer.
Wow cause since the 5G rollout we have the 300ER vs the 223ER
Wow! I had no idea BA flew to Phoenix
Welcome back British Airways!! 🇺🇸🇬🇧

Arizona checking in, love the old school livery on southwest. Keep up the good work

Apache Junction here. Where do you go to get such great shots of Sky Harbor?
Terminal 4 parking garage on the top floor, plane spotting is allowed up there
I was guessing he had an airline job,. On the ground. Baggage, etc..

great video
We now get the 300er version of BA ever since the 5G roll out interesting cause we normally got the 223ER version till about a few weeks ago
From what I have been hearing, the 300ER should be on the route for a little bit, and eventually is supposed to move to the A350-1000 this summer
Cool.
Eu gosto muito de assistir os vídeos pois é o meu passatempo preferido♥♡♥♥♡♥♥
Hi from Mesa AZ
Hi from Chandler AZ
@@Perich29 hi from Goodyear!
Glad I moved north, look at all that dirty air
What's up with the American West Airline's tail?
Because, America West merged with U.S. airways,. Then merged with American airlines. They kept part of tail decor.... I🇺🇸♥️👍
That's N838AW the America West heritage scheme, first with US Airways, now with American
Those Southwest 737 have a loud engine whine, when they takeoff
So does American’s. I took two of them. Super loud compared to the A321.
RUTH E QUE O BRASIL TEM UMA VEZ MAIS
Huuummmmmm likeee
I like that you are Spotting at PHX except your focus is not in focused in the beginning from BA 777 is good otherwise nice job!
Lovely to see British Airways again but I wish it was the 747, I don't like the 777
Hard to beat the 747
I remember they used the DC-10 Landor Livery I believe in the 90s

777 needs a wash, looks grubby, come on BA maintenance
