omg yea i was just shaking my head at the players, none built towers to protect their mex/bases after the first time then it comes back for a 2nd time ffs lol,
The first run by was beautiful, but when it doubled back for seconds I just couldn't believe it XD
I would love short review videos of other RTS games in a "this game compared to BAR"-format.

I'm assuming it was Broken Arrow that got recommended to you, the playtest for that just started. You should try it! I'd be interested to see how a good BAR player does with that game. It'd be a huge change of pace from BAR, but as for me at least I really like that Wargame/WARNO style of RTS too. There are a lot of good demos up for Nextfest this time, too, I've got way too much to play right now.
Also I feel like making everything bullet sponges in games is more or less universally hated despite how common it is, and that really keeps me from getting excited about Stormgate. Imagine what BAR would be like if everything did 1/10th the damage, it'd just feel awful to play.

The hero grunt nobody wanted, but the hero we deserved. 😅😂
absolutely loved watching that getting tear down those bases, would've been cool if green had followed that up with ~4 hounds as soon as they were ready to seal the deal. great match!

If bottom right scouted left team and pushed with t1, they would've secured the entire bottom lane, but they turtled and let them recuperate

Nice commentary. Does stormgate have armor / damage types similar to wc3?
Im not sure how the armor system for WC3 works but I know it's similar to SC2 with a flat bonus and then extra bonuses based on the class of unit (light, flying, etc)

I was the blue player. That geo spot gap was a huge weak point...I threw some fiends at orange to keep them from realizing it after you and pink teched up and retook mid. But if you guys leaked through there my base would've been toast lol

@@dearlove88 Dude, I randomly glanced at that corner mid-game and saw him hiding behind their bases and building llts. I had no idea how on earth he got his com back there. It had me so confused xD
