Im a mallu, My dad is christian my mom a hindu. I go to temple, i go to church.
Mom's family owns a temple and we take care of all the expense, aniversary functions etc.
Dad's family got a lot of priets and nuns and built few churches.
We used to have RSS training every weekend during my childhood. I used to attend. I'd go to church every sunday.
Half of my friends are muslims.
During the temple aniversary all our neighbours (hindus, christians, muslims) regardless of their religion would come all dressed up and help us around the temple and arrange the function. Never thought about our religion or different, others are simply humans infront of our eyes.
Ive been in delhi for 6 years, bangalore for 4 years and mumbai for 4 years. During these times, everyday someone or the other talks about religious difference or state difference or cultural differences EVERY SINGLE DAY! Please understand that everyone has freewill. Do what you want, let others do what they want to do. Just make sure your actions wont hurt/effect someone's life in a negative way. Thats all that matters. You wanna be hindu? Christian? Muslim? I have lived in Kerala for 7 years in my childhood and prime years of my education. I studied in a school run by RSS. But, I never felt that they were trying to polarize us or whatsoever. The moment when prime minister Narendra Modi promoted this movie in his election campaign and the official channel of Bharatiya Janata party posted a video mentioning Kerela story, it became so much clear about the basic agenda of this movie. I do know this agenda earns them a lot of money and power. But is this fair enough to break the social integrity laid down by india's revolutionaries just for the sake of some vote, money and power. Materialism will inscribe a deep sense of regret on the moment one understand that morality and ethics has more to do with our Life.
I'm a Christian from Goa and I've been to Kerela several times. But not even a single time I witnessed such stuff. Being a southerner, i would rather conclude it as a deliberate attempt of BJP to shame Kerela in national level just because they don't have a Hindu nationalist government. So BJP is trying the best with their funded directors. But nonetheless this poor communal attempts of hindutva government will fail here and will end up backfiring them. Its such a shame that we ourselves letting our state and our culture getting stereotyped in such a way and ofcourse muslims

For your information, NRC was conducted by BJP government after 2014 and the final list was made public in 2019. Around 19 lakh people were found that they don't belong to India but we're migrants from Bangladesh. Surprisingly, around 2/3rd of that migrants are Hindus & remaining 1/3rd are Muslims. Usually the claim of BJP is the majority are Muslims but it turned out to be farce. Now since Aug 2019 when NRC results were made public, the government both state of Assam & union govt didn't send those people back to their country (Bangladesh) & they not even uttered a word or made any effort. Why is it so? Is it b'cas majority of migrants turned out to be Hindus?

Regarding foreign countries making statements regarding issues faced by them due to Muslims be it conversions / radicalisation - no one is ignorant about this & every country are working to deal with these kind of issues due to religious fundamentalism. But one should do it through institutional means, strengthening societal fabric, improving religious pluralism/acceptance etc rather than trying to flare up things by creating fear, dividing societies based on communities (religious) etc. B'cas by doing this we are even pushing people towards radicalisation & fundamentalism. You are absolutely right. A few months back he was ranting about Bangalore floods blaming the local govt as if floods never affect other states when in fact only a small portion of Bangalore was flooded (not even 0.5%). So many Bangalore residents posted photos of their locality showing everything was fine. Telangana was flooded a few days back and now news at all on channels!! Chennai gets flooded almost once every 2- 3 years. I immediately realized he is a propagandist for sure, and his surname confirms it.
Also, a colleague of mine from Thiruvananthpuram told me a few years back that some 6 to 7 girls from his neighborhood got converted and one girl was his immediate neighbour. Imagine 6 to 7 girls from one locality alone!! So imagine the numbers all over the state. Such guys are useful idiots for one samuday and they will give him cover fire with their al taqiyya.
