I was close friends with Killah Priest in the late 90s to early 2000s, I considered him at the time one of my best friends, we used to build in the Holy Bible and would meet up in mid Manhattan on Friday and Saturday nights at about 10 pm and go to a local McDonald's or white castles and build with 5 or 6 people and by 12 o'clock the next day early afternoon, there might have been 20 or 30 people who stopped by or heard our conversation and would sit down and join the conversation. This brother had no ego, was extremely meek and humble, yet Brooklyn bred tough at the same time. Was extremely gracious to people when they recognized him. Treated people the way he wanted to be treated. Was a very good brother. The last time I ran into Killah Priest was a week before I moved to Florida from NYC in 2002 and I gave him the David Icke book "the biggest secret", told him I'll get back from him the next time I see him. Haven't talked to him since that day, but I have followed his career with his music and podcast. Peace to the god.
everything in this album aged like wine! i would appreciate if you gave my playlists a glance.. I’m working on some 80s-90s Hip-Hop playlists for the east, west & south sides respectively, hoping to create a catalogue of all the dopest & most unique old school Hip-Hop for newer listeners :) I am a younger fan of Hip-Hop myself so I would be very thankful of any feedback or anybody else who should be on the next east coast playlist! Peace ☮️🖤🙂
