it's been 5 years since my last kapla and domino video!! more (bigger and better) projects coming very soon :) be sure to watch Kapla and Domino 1 if you haven't yet! ruclips.net/video/ME2evXQ_Bpo/видео.html
Thank you Lily for making me believe that falling down is beautiful because no matter how many times one falls down one can always rise! The pieces will be put differently but it'll be unique and beautiful! Thank you and love you 💜💙💜💙😘
*So very awesome!! Love incorporating the kapla into new tricks! You definitely have more patience than the majority of people. I'd like to say, 'thank you,' for all the wonderful entertainment you've provided for so many people,.....including myself. Have a great weekend.*
The trick you used a bunch in the setup starting at about 50 seconds was my favorite. Makes a very nice fall pattern and a super satisfying sound. It surprised me a lot, very cool!
Kapla's are interesting. I've never seen them before, but from how the video looks, they seem to be lighter and need more force behind them, compared to your normal dominos. The topple sound is also different, Kapla's sound more scattered and less of an even flow. Thanks for giving me something fun & new every Saturday. ps, an original Rube Goldberg machine drawing sold in auction this week. $3500 which is a very fair price. They can hit $10,000.
Nice! What about playing with the distance between the kaplas? Like increasing it progressively, and vice versa. Could make some effects with that, maybe!
I like how you can use the height difference to nest domino structures inside Kapla structures and have them fall independently. Also, the height letting you do timing tricks, like that "xylophone" fall in the middle there.
WOW, unexpected and amazing as usual...I was astounded at some of the tricks you created...I never expected the kapla sticks to fall the way they did many times. Another great vid!
Wow there were several tricks and structures in here that had me in awe :o I really loved the speedwall that went through the pyramid, that was awesome! and all the little new kapla tricks were really fun to watch as well. Great job coming up with these new tricks and turning them into crazy chain reactions! Great work! :D and HOLY CRAP that kapla structure looks AMAZING 😱
thank you :) I tried morphing domino tricks with kapla tricks and got a lot of inspiration from benjamin crouzier. a lot of the tricks from this video are things I learned from his videos!
Very cool! Those structures that look like H's make a cool galloping noise as they fall! I'd love to see you make one that is specifically geared toward creating specific sounds.
Awesome!! I loved the ones with, I can't think of the right words to technically describe it, but more physics than just falling and knocking out or over going on. Speaking of percussion those coloured blocks and the sounds the made, I'm also wondering if it's possible to make musical dominoes? I've seen similar things before, I think!? Not just glockenspiels and DIY wooden instruments, glock-organs that are rube-goldberg machines and art-pieces at the same time, though my memory might be getting mixed up with strandbeests and pianoboats I think I probably have seen these: I'm not sure if I've seen it in a domino set up. Maybe with glasses and water-columns but not the actual block playing itself as a domino. And it's almost, almost like a Minecraft IRL thing, music blocks in real life. I can think of several ways and complications of trying to get kapla or other blocks tuned and playing themselves. You definitely had different notes playing as the natural blocks fell onto the brightly coloured base layer that looked like a xylophone, I hope that was deliberate. I guess you had to raise them up to get a note, so that would look like it! Tuning depends on the resonant length or the size/density of the block, but I don't know how best to do it. A run across a xylophone or glockespiel and/or other domino related music/asmr seems like an interesting area. Maybe for at least one of us for the future. Or is it what you've got planned already!? :-) Good stuff anyway.
I have done a glockenspiel video before but it's on my second channel so a lot of people may not have seen it yet: ruclips.net/video/Fuh1n6IXJzk/видео.html Different dominoes make different sounds based on the color and material. You can match each domino color to a pitch and make a sound that way (like this: ruclips.net/video/nG1NuFW9icM/видео.htmlm5s). I wasn't intending the "piano" trick to play different notes, only make a color pattern with the kaplas, but I can definitely explore this more!
Hi Lily! Great job and so inspiring to others. Thanks for including so many other people to cooperate in domino tricks. Suggestion: how about making an unedited video that includes a steady beat (so your background music matches) and different sizes of dominoes that create different tones? Title it" Domino Symphony #1"!!! As a musician and fellow pianist, I'll be anxiously awaiting your clever ideas! Peggy @@Hevesh5
Hello @Hevesh5 thank you for another great video. how long does not take you to setup something likes of that?? i would imagine hours if not days for some. Ohhhh that one behind you at the end........ Thank you for all your efforts and videos greatly appreciated :)
Is it harder to make images using kaplas or is it they don't look as clean as color dominos? Been enjoying your videos since triple spiral and never seen you make an image using kaplas that I can remember.
I don't have a lot of kaplas (especially colored planks) so it's more difficult for me to make images. I find them a bit harder to set up than dominoes as well, so if I am going to make an image I would rather use dominoes.

Ever consider working in a few small xylophones, for a bit of music? The SOUND of your displays is part of the fun! 😎👍
Mike the Son of Gustaf is on to something. Use Kapla Blocks of different sizes and thicknesses and set them up to play tunes when they fall!
👍👍👍👍👍💙💙💙💙💙💘💘🙆🙆🙆🙆🙆🙆😏
🙆🙆🙆🙆💘💘💘💘💙💙👍👍😻😻💕💕💞💞❤
I have done that before! check it out :) ruclips.net/video/Fuh1n6IXJzk/видео.html

Thank you Lily for making me believe that falling down is beautiful because no matter how many times one falls down one can always rise! The pieces will be put differently but it'll be unique and beautiful! Thank you and love you 💜💙💜💙😘

I like this, the structures are more intricate and the fall is slower.
Your trick at the 0:53 mark sounded like the old time movies horses clomping. These really sound unique.

yeah it could! might not be as reliable when it topples but I can test things out :)

a few hours! thank you :)

Yes!

Perfect!!
This video was colorful interesting and different.was this easier to set up than dominoes??...🌈🌸🤗🌵
A bit more difficult in my opinion. Since they are taller, they are more prone to tipping over when you set them up.
