And today's country is country? Most country artists are failed rock and roll bands 💯. Look at all the artists in leather and chains! 🤣😂🤣. Bob's song sounds like a hybrid to me like every other song. They play kid rock on country stations 🤣😂🤣
Bob Seger "Like A Rock" "Night Moves" "Main Street" "Kathmandu" " Come To Poppa" "Her Strut" "Fire Down Below" "Shame On The Moon" These are some of the best!

The original was from 1972 and the live was from 1973 and is one of the all time classics in rock history. Whoever suggested this is totally on point 💯
I do not know how I missed this!!! My dad committed suicide when I was 17 years old. He told me when I was 13 he wanted this played at his funeral, so we played it. Bob Seger is one of the best Rock and Rollers, I saw him numero times live back in the 70s! His brother George Seger lived about 20 minutes from me in Salisbury North Carolina! Great story teller! Silver bullet band had some of the finest musicians ever and he's still doing some tours noe in 2023!

Bob Seger is a great singer songwriter. He’s a great ballad singer and hard rocker. I’m an old guy, and I love watching you younger guys discover some of my favorites from my youth. Keep up the great videos, Greg!
Hey brother, how's it going?Bob is probably the greatest story teller of all and the silver bullet band.and his back up singers. You can't never go wrong with any of his songs.he just retired this year.
Bob recorded this in 1971, released it on his 'Back in '72' album. He formed his Silver Bullet band the following year. I graduated in '71 & used to go see him before he got famous. He is a MIchigan boy. And his music is considered Rock. This just happens to be a mellow song. Check out more Bob. 'Old time rock & roll' is fun tune. 'Night moves' is mellow like this. 'Against the wind' or 'Roll me away'. So many good songs. Enjoy the journey.
that happens a lot & it's fake. If you click on their name, they have an empty page with their name at the top. Why someone does that nonsense is beyond me. LOL @@glennjones8852
Back in the seventies, being on tour meant you were zig zagging across the country in a big old bus. Bob Segar and Jackson Browne both did several songs about the toll it took. Segar's Roll Me Away and Browne's Running on Empty and Load Out/Stay are songs that let you know it was taking a lot out of them. These guys also played their own music and sang live, no lip synching back then. A concert wad $20.00 and it lasted a couple of hours. Today, everything is recorded in a studio, they use private planes to get around, they lip sync through the whole concert that only lasts 45 minutes and it will cost you $200.00 or more.
I grew up during this time frame listening to these great artists. Many awesome singers and musicians gave their all for our entertainment. This is absolutely rock n roll. Todays country music has changed that some sounds like rock! I can appreciate both. With that said, Bob Seger has always been one of my favorites. True emotion in his voice and each word.
