That's the problem with my generation and younger they completely disregard the things and events and especially the people that have shaped the world that may have come and gone but none the less made a major impact I was having a conversation a few days ago with a kid I went to high school with and long story short he thought ww2 was in 73 after busting his chops trying to figure out how he's went through almost thirty years thinking one of history's most important milestones took place in the 70s the best part is as he walked away I stopped him and asked hey don't you want to know the truth and he told me verbatim who cares We're the future now f the past... on the drive home all I could think about is how thankful I was that I had people in my life that did care and planted that seed of knowledge in my mind from a young age and one of the main quotes that kept running thorough my head was he who forgets history is doomed to repeat it. But anyways sorry 007 kind of a rant but the point is men like frank are a dying bread and that worries me because knowledge, streets smarts; and that elusive thing called common sense dies with them at the end of the day you can just hope that your friends and loved ones surround them selfs with as many people that hopefully hold some of those qualities. Frank Vincent a true mans man and a legend in my eyes god rest his soul.

Omerta 1589 Very interesting and spoken like a Man’s Man! I mean that my friend, as I told some others commenters here, I’m sure there are some younger guys out there that can and will step up and be real men and here you are! Thanks very much!!

In today's attack on being a strong conservative man...these type of books are needed very badly!

I think it's a better world if any man can be a strong man, not just conservatives. A good man should be confident enough, and strong enough in his convictions, that to him it doesn't matter whether a person is conservative, liberal, whatever. They're just decent, thoughtful people, full stop.

Very cool collectable book... He was so great in the Sopranos, but his role in Casino was outstanding. Loved that movie!

Hey my good friend, thanks for sharing this with us! I am going to try to find this book and read it, seems like an interesting read. I remember his movies, such a great actor. I myself have a motto I live by, "There are two days out of every week I don't worry about, yesterday and tomorrow, I live for today." I remember taking my wife and kids on vacation and they wanted to go someplace I can't remember and my wife told my kids we will go there the next time we come by here. I stopped the car looked at my wife and told her we are going there now because there might not ever be a next time! So there you go, now you know a little about how I live my life! Once again thanks! Take Care!

No book can really shape your life into what you want to be -either you are or are not. Ive NEVER been a "Ladies Man" but within the last ten years (Im 50) ive very much gained some positive masculine traits and, without effort Im a "mans man"; men at my workplace want to hang out with me, but if there is no balance with women wanting to hang out with me, Im not interested in life being a "sausage fest" even outside of work.
Once again, a well-intentioned book, but your genetics, psychological factors and how they either collide with or mesh into society determines EVERYTHING.
"I like my cologne like I like my beer and whiskey -cheap and strong." -Me
