There a HUGE BIG PROBLEM WITH SOFTWARE from esri:IT IS NOT FREE FOR STUDENTS in portugal! SPECIAL for PhD students that are far away from university and have NO MONEY AT ALL to buy for one year ONLY the program ArcGis 10! That is A HUGE MISTAKE FROM esri!

I KNOW THAT RAMI AND UNFORTUNATELY IS THE ONLY WAY TO DO MY PhD THESIS!
I TRY to FIND a free solution for one year but UNFORTUNATELY everything in esri even for POOR students unemployment at 19 years is paying the software! And UNFORTUNATELY I LIVE FAR AWAY (in Leiria near Fátima, portugal) FROM Coimbra university! And I NEED A FREE SOFTWARE TO DO MY PHD THESIS! I HAVE another PROBLEM with SPSS (THAT UNFORTUNATELY TOO IS NOT FREE), AND I NEED TO WORK WITH SOME STATISTICAL dates! LIFE OF POOR and unemployment students is NOT EASY, I KNOW!
