Oona Laurence deserves an Academy award nomination for best supporting actress, she blew me away with her perfomance.

I watched the film and have seen Oona as Matilda, and wow. Just wow. She's such an amazing performer and actress! She has more talent in her pinky than I have in my entire body... That girl is going to go places I'm telling you.

_"Southpaw" (2015)_ had was built around solid character development and strong, emotionally driven performances but had a fairly feeble script, whereas _"Creed" (2015)_ around a mediocre cast that gave mediocre performances, with a script that was based upon the genre's greatest cliches.
Yet somehow _"Southpaw"_ somehow managed to score *61%* at Rotten Tomatoes and bring home *91$ mil.* against a *25$ mil.* budget and _"Creed"_ *91%*, with *173$ mil.* in the box office against a *35$ mil.* budget.

As much as I like Gyllenhaal, Southpaw disappointed me. The direction of the movie was not good at all. The pacing of the movie was terrible, the fight scenes were horribly edited. The acting was the only thing that kept the movie alive. Ali was my personal favorite boxing movie and the fight scenes were way more convincing.
