Destiny 2 New Raid Season Return Игры
Legit made no sense why they sunset it so fast. Best year of D2 was forsaken.
true f beyond light
Well it’s coming back next season
@@LostEnding_ too little too late
@@LostEnding_not confirmed
@@John_Smith97 well we know what raids it won’t be, and leaks have mostly been accurate
Love the general vibe of scourge and black armory in general, up there with this season and past mercury as one of the top destiny aesthetics imo
I loved the Whisper meta, it showed exactly who could aim in your fireteam. Now with div even div's can hit crits.
I mean it was not hard in the first place
@@Xlaws you'd be surprise on how low the skill floor can go
Scourge was the first raid I ever completed and I only ever got to do it once. Really hope it comes back someday.
It's the new reprised raid thats coming I think
Dude I’ve said this time and time again but it’s too great not to point out. Please never change your delivery style. Quick, informative, entertaining and not only fact but some opinionated points. And the music… nothing needs to be said about it. Perfect.
thank you bro i appreciate that
Scourge of the past in my opinion remains the best raid in terms of time spent in it compared to the amount of fun you had and the rewards you got by far
What rewards came from Scourge? Only started in Arrivals, but i think Anarchy and Always on Time came from it right?
@Tim yeah and at the time and for a while anarchy remained the best period while you also got things like the threat level shotgun which was the best pve shotgun for awhile and then all the other weapons weren't as good but there wasn't any bad ones either it also had one of the best mods in history in fallen armaments and always on time is still to this day the best sparrow by far
@@noahheider264 bruh only anarchy was worth it
@@timcal2136threat level a primary shotty with trench barrel which we still haven't gotten, and blast furnace were both S tier drops
Its criminal how the best D2 content is unplayable, Red War was my absolute fav era. Such a good story, also loved all the locations I hope in the future all the sunset content will return.
Scourge is easily a top 5 raid for me. The atmosphere, encounters, loot, and mechanics made it a blast to play. Hopefully it comes back in the future alongside all the other vaulted content.
Must be low standards for top 5 lol. All those metrics of measurement are generic and can be said for almost every raid I can think of lmao.
@@localprime8868 The encounters are interesting to me because it felt like an actual team effort, more so than other raids. For example, In Insurrection Prime, you had a map reader that would tell people where to dunk as well as snipers who would prevent IP from being annoying. The atmosphere was cool to me because it took place inside of The Last City, a place that I’ve been wanting to see ever since Destiny existed. The loot was top tier. Things like Threat Level, which was a kinetic shotgun with Trench Barrel, and Anarchy, which is easily the best raid exotic we’ve ever gotten. The mechanics did have balls, but it also had a maps of the areas, Berserkers, which required teamwork to bring down, and ACP.
@@Bobblebog ALL RAIDS require team effort, every single one of them. That is the inherent characteristic of all raids that bungie intended for these activities since their creations, and it is mostly featured through each raids unique mechanics. And scourge’s mechanics was probably one of the most simplest, which is fine, not like easy and simple can’t be good, it’s just that raids with more complex and more to do in mechanic objectives before getting to a dps phase or the next objective usually require everyone doing more together understandably so therefore requiring more team work. As for the loot, yea I’ll give you the weapons, shotty was meta along with ikelos shotty for a while, while anarchy didn’t rise in popularity until later it’s one of the best if not the best raid exotics not sure if to say the best considering Divinity was and kinda still is a part of many dps strats. The armor was utter garbage. And the boss was pretty underwhelming, just an enlarged brig. Feel like raid bosses should all be a big surprise that have a little more thought put into them in design and not just make an enemy type that exists in the game 10 times as big. Like Riven, Rhulk, Oryx, all these bosses don’t just shit on scourge in design, the way they tie to their respective story/dlc is top.
Totally agree, one of the 2 raids I have double digit clears in, kept me coming back.
I have heard leaks that scourge will be the reprised raid in season 22 but I think it will be WoTM.
Bungie will never be forgiven for deleting all the content during beyond light, ESPECIALLY raids. Raids are the best things in PvE, the only interesting things tbh. They also need to keep the raids fresh by keeping the HP of the bosses up to date. Its crazy how I sat hours on master Atheon during splicer and now we just 1 phase him. I know they are old raids but the difficulty needs to be appropriate
Raids and dungeons are the only fun thing in pve tbh
chill
I wanted the SOTP raid scout No Feelings so damn bad. Never bagged it unfortunately. 😢
Scourge is my favorite D2 raid. Loot was great imo ( and modern perks would make the weapons all beasts ) and the armor is still in my usual fit. Black Armory was okay content wise, but the loot was real good.
If the this raid came back then we could get a black armory weapons back
@@gusindeed6748 And since this year has so far has had both the destination and seasonal weapons be reskinned/reissued models, it'd fit for Bungie to bring back my beloved BA weapons to save themselves the work of designing new models and stats. Still reused content, but if they bring them back and don't butcher the perk pools, people would be more happy than displeased.
So THAT was scourge of the past. As I’m not a raider this was really interesting to watch. Thanks for making it 👍👍👍
Should you ever expand your horizon on Destiny's endgame content, first start with Dungeons, then try Raids. Most fun ever spent.
The very first brig, we'll miss you, Insurrection Prime.
This was the first raid I ever completed. Still play with some people from that lfg to this day😂 It’s a really good starter raid. Hope it returns someday.
I heard it's going to be the next returning raid in destiny
@@TheAssassinsfan2234 Didn't they say that only D1 raids were gonna be reprised? Either Wrath or Crota
@@macho8240 Yeah, but Bungie saying one thing then doing another isn't new.
A hallmark of a well designed encounter is when everyone has a job
would love the state of destiny 2 from you.
This was the first raid I ran with my clanmates that I found on the fireteam finder. Couple years later and we still play games and share stuff with eachother.
I love Destiny not only for the great gameplay and story, but also for the great memories and friends I´ve found through it
I remember running this raid with my buddy Nate for the first time ever. Alone I'm a funny guy, but him and I combined are a dynamic duo of comedy. My fondest memory is the flaming servitor encounter where him and I were on gate duty and dashing away to spawn our sparrows when the encounter started. We both even got the sparrow and raid exotic on our first clear
This was always my favorite raid to do before DSC came out. It felt like there was always something for everyone to do. There was no “I’m on ad clear” like RON or KF. No matter what, everyone was involved. It was also obvious that there was so much innovation and passion put into the raid with a completely unique enemy type, introduction of brigs, use of vehicles, and even the little detail of the firework going off when you beat the boss. I really hope it does return although I would also really like to see Wrath back as well. Tbh Crota can stay dead for all I care.
Scourges second encounter is half of the team clearing ads
bro nostalgia just hit hardddd
That first encounter is probly in the top three encounters in destiny for me leading your team around a whole city that has a map is just awsome this raid was awsome, lol still hopeing its wrath coming back next season though
God damn look at that golden gun nighthawk damage, back when it was worth using because it actually gave you a good risk reward value over damage and missing your shot.
I did it once, I was carried hard because it was my first raid. I use it as my emblem now because it was nice, plus they did it in 38 minutes and I thought it was pretty cool
Ah i remember this and the brig boss but i got the exotic from that raid i was happy of course
I think that secret chest had the most sought after item and not the mods! THAT GODLY SPARROW!
I mean they did bring back Felwinters peak for part of a quest for one of the seasons we had recently I think. It is possible wrath could come back and Iron temple (shiro and others).
in the archives it was actually edited a week ago and it could possibly be coming back as a raid in the legacy tab!
I never got to do this one and i really wished we got it back
Oh Boy, here we go. I loved this raid to death. This raid was fun, had unique challenges to it and was just nice to mess around in. It had awesome loot (RIP Threat Level) and the best Exo and Sparrow in the game. The setting was amazing, it had fun easter eggs, cool OOBs and will forever be in my heart. I never got the Blacksmith title tho. I regret it cuz I could have easily
I love all of the raids, the most underrated D2 raid being Spire of Stars which was unique in that it required everyone to do something.
I'm not sure if it was underrated, I just think that many people hated it because it was actually hard.
@anthonypotamitis7049 no because it had no good loot and it lasted the same amount of time you do with your right hand.
@@Rrr20058bvsc Loot was awful, but Val Ca'our is arguably the best raid boss that they ever created with it staying a difficult fight until it got sunset.
We already have two D1 reprised raids, it's time for sunsetted D2 raids.
the return of SOTP is awesome considering how the pve sandbox is right now, i can't wait to do some build-crafting with the weapons from this raid. Deeper reserve catalyst for anarchy???
@@Rrr20058bvsc I never said that the loot was good. Just stated that most people hated it for the difficulty which is a fact
This was the only raid I completed tbh and with a lfg and it was a fun one
This was one of my favorites. 3 NEW raids in the forsaken year... Best year by far
Black armoury was the best section of destiny’s entire life cycle
I want the armor and weapons let's hope it comes back
I did enjoy this raid. I got the anarchy on my first clear
scourge so good cuz together with a friend u could single handedly carry the raid
this raid was very fun and anarchy was real broken for a long time but I do hope that crota's end comes back eventually.
This is my fave raid too and only raid that i completed less than 30 minutes
Damn right that raid was great!
I didnt become a Blacksmith outta tryhard grinding. I became it out of enjoyment of the black armory just about everything about it was pure entertainment I cannot and will not get enough of this raid.
I still miss this raid😢
Was a sad day to see this raid go away back then.
Scourge is my all time favorite raid to run.
Quick and easy, each encounter doesnt really require 6 people if you are in a solid team so teaching people the mechanics was pretty laid back, but the raid also allowed moments for one person to save a run with the mechanics (1st encounter speeding over to pick up a battery when your runners cannot pick it up, soloing the sparrow run, saving teammates who sparrowed too close to the final boss and got stomped as a result), the sparrow race is easily the best section in terms of fun/time invested/difficulty, the loot was insanely good on top of the season it released during having some of the best weapons in the game (id argue threat level would still be a number 1 dps choice if it never got sunset), the raid exotic was OP for years and is still easily incorporated into damage phases, the raid sparrow will never get its bugged speed nerfed lol, and the fashion game that came from the raid was stellar.
But can we all agree that the 3rd encounter challenge, All for one One for all, was a horrible challenge, or at least was the least fun challenge to run at that point in the games life?
This raid was awesome. I enjoy it and run it a lot with friends, I hope it will come Backe some time
Bungie did state that siva is done story wise. The raid they usually reprise had something to do with the story. Let's not forget that Eramis story isn't over a long with the fact that the kell of that particular fallen group from scourge of the past was eramis's son.
Season of plunder-a pirate themed season about the fallen.
Kings Fall-a hive raid.
What do those two have in common, that made KF get reprised?
@@RhythmicCone47 I meant the story of that year. We were still dealing with Savathuns army and Xivu was right around the corner. Introducing kings fall between the two was perfect for the story. Especially now since we have the ghosts of the deep dungeon where we experience the 3 siblings influence at the same place. Oryx's body , Savathun's brood, and Xivu's thoughts on the whole situation.
@@Turtles7734 by that same reasoning, wrath can still come back, because Neomuna was constructed with SIVA and the nanotechnology we see there is an upgraded version of it, as you said we still have to see what comes from Eramis's story, but if you look back she tried to rebuild the house of devils (the one that found SIVA originally), and tried to steal outbreak prime from a vault inside the og tower to use SIVA to her benefit.
And on the other hand we would need to be a story related to ada-1's story threads so that they have a reason to bring scourge back, since it's related to her, and since Bungie hasn't done something notable with her apart from giving her some shaders to sell, it seems they don't have nothing to do with her for now.
Either way both wrath and scourge have a chance (not equal) for them to come back, but there's more story threads related with the ones from wrath's than the ones related to scourge's.
I personally would like both to come back because:
1•I would like the raid I purchased back.
2•I'm interested in how Bungie would revamp wrath's mechanics.
3•Since their exotics are already earnable in the exotic kiosk, I want to see what NEW exotics based on the raids they come up with.
@@RhythmicCone47 There's one thing you forgot to mention. Don't forget that the main bad guy in season of the forge was Siviks lost to none. Which is Eramis's own son and brother to spider. Eramis still hates the traveler along with anyone who follows it. Yes I want both raids back too but Bungie has already stated that Siva is done and I think it's a stupid decision.
And it’s coming back as a free raid. Which I consider a plus.
I’m definitely gonna wait for it to come out before forcing my friend to play destiny 2
man all the runs i did to get the always on time and the curated threat level...
Wish I was around to play this.
I quit the game during curse of Osiris. & returned this year.
I wish i knew what destiny was back in the day. i and new players have missed out on so much
Lol u think this is old?
@@Gutssssss666 No but it is deleted from the game so i still have missed out on it and everything from year one
I agree 1000%.
It was amazing.
I cannot wait for treat level to come back make rapid fire trench barrel a thing agai n
So glad its coming back
wasnt it leaked that this is coming back, if so im really excited to play it
Got anarchy my first run 👌 it was also a hard carry for my team 😂
One last fun fact is that insurrection prime was the first ever fallen brig.
If they actually do bring this back. Do you guys think the exotic will be a catalyst for anarchy annndd anarchy itself or something else. And will the weapons possibly be craftable. And if this raid is coming back do you rhink the season will be forge related?
3:17 You forgot the sparrow... which I think was the most wanted than any other exotic in the game, other than Anarchy.
I couldn't play it but bought Arnachy at the kiosk.
Scourge is a decent raid for it's time, but now if it was to be brought back would need some changes to meet the modern standard. 3rd and 4th encounters are both already well designed enough to be brought back as is, but higher stakes and more threats such as more snipers, boss health, more urgency for matching buffs on damage, and more ads for both encounters will be enough to make it feel revived. 1st will need a significant upgrade if it's to meet modern standards, having 3 phase instead of 2, Berserkers being more common apart from just cores, and of course ads could make the encounter feel a little more alive, as it has very interesting mechanics, but doesn't have enough to make it feel like there are stakes. Apart from the raid having basically 3 encounters as the sparrow escape is way too short to be one today, the raid will need an extra encounter made for it if it is to hit that standard. The sparrow escape would be perfect to sub in for a jumping puzzle, and Bungie could either make the course longer so it feels slightly different, or change the entire course so that it will truly feel different. Just some ideas of what they could do, but if Bungie doesn't decide to do anything and bring back the raid AS IS without new armor/weapons, this raid will not have that longevity raids need to succeed and will only appeal to either players who don't play the game too often, or new lights who are just getting into the game.
Shot and super fun raid
Personally the wipe mechanic on scourge is the only one that I feel has any real tangible impact. I might be wrong but back when I was running scourge on LFGs every week, whenever we wipe, my head always goes: “Damn the fallen just destroyed the last city” which in a way, definitely makes it much of threatening of a thing to humanity since it is right there in the last city.
This raid gave our clan its funniest moment. The first time we get to the sparrow race we have a guy tell us to stack up on a door to start the race. We start the race and go flying through the door only we dont get very far. We are asking which way to go when the servitor lights up and kills us all. That clan member wasnt able to give directions for a while and we still wont let them live it down.
I'd love to see Wrath brought back, but if bringing back scourge means we're also getting back the black armory weapons, i'm down
The only reason I don't think this raid is returning any time soon is because of the Exotic Terminal in the tower. You can currently buy the exotic drops from Leviathan, Scourge, and Crown of Sorrow which would have to be redone in some way so people couldn't just buy one of the main reasons you raid. That's why I'm guessing we're either getting Wrath or Spire of Stars as the next raid but either way, the two options are pretty cool
Okay but if they bring back scourge or wrath wtf will the exotic be? Both anarchy and outbreak are in the kiosk. So either they make a new exotic or reprise crota
I will only play this raid again if they add the blast furnace as raid loot! Since we already can buy the Anarchy from the archive in tower.
Not gonna lie! This looks awesome with it being “outside” and tanks and everything
Definitely one of the more “fun” raids!
Loved that Raid. But i really hope they bring Crota back with maybe some new encounters but i guess that just wishful thinking
Nahh, with the cabal and vex in lightfall and hive in the new dungeon I think it's time for some fallen gameplay
@@TRIGSminer64Unfortunately leakers confirmed scourge isn't the returning raid, and tbh I believe them considering they've been right about everything this year
@@TRIGSminer64 Yeah Sourge would be great
@@Cappy_Cat Read that too somewhere. I honestly cant see how they could bring Wrath back. Guess its easier to add another encounter in Crota rather than putting splicer enemies back into the game. And swapping all enemies in Wrath (splicers to normal fallen) sounds like a huge task
@@peerole2010 I mean is it really that much of a huge task, they remade the kings fall dreadnought and I’d say just keep normal fallen and make a few select be siva that have that tracking bomb after they die. I mean the mechanic is already there with the lucent hive moths, just color it red. I am no means a game designer but wouldn’t that work better than making new encounters for a destiny 1 raid?
I love SOTP it's the only raid I reached 98 raid completion 😂
I miss the old raids, like Crota, where you could carry noobs and hear the excitement of people the first time they did a raid. These days the whole team has to be on point and there are so many anal raiders. Old raids were great. You want to run around and panic and look at stuff noob then go for it. Now it's you stand there, you stand there, you're there and anyone who fails the first time is kicked. They took away the community spirit.
this point of Destiny 2 was aboslutely a Metal Gear Solid vibe but Scourge was also referred to as Metal Gear Siviks.
One word, tanks
Scourge is like a spiritual successor to WOTM, but its gone now because Bungo
if this raid returns people will still be happy because craftable scourge guns with a new origin perk
I always enjoyed scourge but I honestly felt like it was more like the raid layers than a full raid. It was kind of more like the crotas end of D2 to me
I never got the chance to do this raid. I've always loved the look of it though, sunsetting really is a shite practice..
It was. I actually like it
Its sad that they sunset raids. In a weird way I am for sunsetting. The game feels stagnant now with the same weapons. But sunsetting raids and exotic missions was a bad idea.
I barely played scourge so I'm very happy it's back (if it's coming back) many are disappointed that wrath isn't the next raid but this raid never left d1 and that allows players to go back to d1 and play it again , instead scourge totally disappeared, there is no other way to play it again (at least it was scourge and not Spire or Eater)
tbh if this gets re released and not wrath ill be kinda pissed
If this does come back, they're gonna have to bump up the boss's health by a lot\
Liked it very much as boss, they just need to double the hp and was still a good and hard dungeon
will they add a new exotic then cause anarchy is in the kiosk
that or they'll give anarchy a catalyst
As much as I love wrath of the machine and Crota’s end, I would rather them let the old d2 raids become playable again rather than remaking older raids since it’s much better to have the games own raids rather than it’s predecessor’s raids but balanced
To be honest, if they add this raid back instead of a D1 reprised raid, I wouldn't be sad.
I liked this raid back in the day...and I liked weapons from it even more. There was the first fusion with backup plan in 3-rd column to exist and it's the only one in the game that has opening shot (in the same column by the way). Those wealpons were as unique as the raid itself was unique. I would like to see it back.
And what I wish I will never see again is crown of sorrow. Worst raid ever made, disgusting at everything and having the worst raid loot in the history of destiny.
Scourge is a great raid. However, he if it were to come back, I wouldn’t be all that excited. With all raids that return there’s a factor of “been there done that” and for scourge that factor is much more recent than Wrath or Crota.
It was a great strike I agree
I'm still sure that WotM will be coming next season. They work many seasons in advance and the bit of scourge that showed up was not the full raid. So we might get SotP as the next reprised raid next year or they could be repurposing the entrance for a mission like they did with DSC and the Sereph exotic mission. Scourge and Spire are the only raids i haven't been in tho so I'll be super excited if one of them is the raid that comes back.
Scourge of the Future
Bungie need to bring that raid back
wrath.
Brilliant raid even when I had all the loot I loved helping lfgs
This raid Gave me the sparrow that ive never taken off and will never take off
This raid is an absolute banger for sure and it's one of the more original raids Bungie has done. But my God is the final boss not new player friendly especially if said new player is a slow asf learner.
ACP 🔛🔝
I’m 90% sure it’s coming back
If bungie bring Wrath of the machine back they would have to make a new exotic weapon as we already have Outbreak perfected 😂
They prob will bring back wrath or leviathan
The endless argument of shout we dps as C A P or A P C or P A C
