    This series is perfect. Fun and short scenes that break down so easily. My wallet does not thank you, but I certainly do!

    That is genius!
    A genius way of using the fundamentals, will get you very very far.
    I mean, who thought those Pteros were not 3d rendered and were actually created using the HUMBLE puppet tool instead?

    I must say I REALLY like that you are using practical models. We need more of that in film making.

    i know after all those insane stuff this question is stupid but did you manually make the camera shake at the end or is there an effect for that?

    i can't help but feel this could have had a lot more appropriate and easy workflows. like why film open sky and then chroma?? why not just chroma?. why not just spray paint the gun with 5 bucks of spray paint in 3 mintues?. and i also would have been tempted to use C4d for the models, but then again that would be teh complicated route, so not necessarliy easier

    • @egeozsoy
      @egeozsoy 9 лет назад

      Space Cadet Not sure about what you meant by open sky then chrome ? But spray painting the gun would make it look like an actually gun, which as seth explains would be dangerous for the elementary school nearby.

    • @spacecadet2827
      @spacecadet2827 9 лет назад

      ege ozsoy the bit where they film the open sky, and he looks up, and he seems them, they chroma key the sky out, and then put a new sky in, and the the VFX. [it's all explained in the video] why not just have him stand in front of green screen. then put in whatever you want. i don't get why he put a background in that he had to remove later, messily. elementary school nearby?? lol that was funny. if that's his reason, then just lols

    • @egeozsoy
      @egeozsoy 9 лет назад

      There is a story of ryan connoly where he was almost shot by a cop because he was holding a (fake) gun. So these things can get serious. They wanted to change the sky but keep the grass and stuff. And usually if you combine real world with vfx it looks more realistic.

    • @spacecadet2827
      @spacecadet2827 9 лет назад

      ege ozsoy but they removed the sky, messily, a cloudy sky [diufficult] , why have it there?? when you could remove a nice chroma key, which is WHY WE USE THEM??

    • @egeozsoy
      @egeozsoy 9 лет назад

      Space Cadet maybe they wanted to keep the ground ?
