I bought this last weekend. Just spent a half hour on the phone with you guys at WORX. I'm telling ya, I can't get it together, the gal on the phone didn't understand what I was asking. A neighbour is coming over tomorrow and if this thing isn't working, back it goes. I have watched the RUclips with this gadget in front of me..............and your gal tried to help me. looks awfully good, which is why I bought it........but I'll be damned if I can get it to set up and work right.
I used mine right out of the box and I am not a big strong guy.....but a 71 year old great grandma....I am guessing you got a bad one.....because this trimmer is AWESOME!!!
The edge guard flew off within seconds of use. I spend more time re-winding string line as the centrifugal force binds the spool wind and the line breaks. Adjusting from edger to trimmer is horrific. It snaps in place with ease in TV, but it takes a tremendous amount of force so I use it for edging only.
Works fine for me. Have it for 3 weeks now. Got 40 minutes out of it every time. Maybe more. I even cut thorned blackberries. Though it is not designed for that. That was a bit much but the line did not break. Cant cut Corn or sunflower but thats for heavy duty mowers with a blade. Dont know how the battery will hold up long term. But for now the product is looking good. Havent read the manual. I got straight to it. What type of wire should I order if the line runs out?
the wheels arent for mowing, its only 5lbs cant handle it hire it done, to complicated find a better one, but im sure they dont make any thats uncomplicated for you
Just bought it and it literally has a 20-minute battery on both batteries takes me the entire day to charge them both literally I can only trim a quarter of my yard at a time
If you live in a condo with a strip of grass these may be ok if you have a yard buy a 200$ echo if you have a pretty big yard buy a commercial grade weed eater the double helix line is the worst
my grandma has a big frickin yard and she has the 40v version of this and when I trim i get it done and take my time and have never came close to using up the whole battery. Idiots like you paint this picture that battery electric only lasts for a small amount of time, which is certainly not true
That's exactly what I want one for. I was thinking of the Ryobi one, but it spits out new line every time you turn it on wasting line and money. I didn't like that idea. The Worx doesn't do that. I'm not sure what company or model to get. The battery ones would be handy when out at the cemetery. No gas to lug around, no gas fumes in the car or the worry of spilling any.
@QVCtv. Thank you for the support. Here at WORX, we appreciate it.
WORX Tools hi, I just pre order the 40v trimmer should I be worried about the battery?
I don't think you should

Wow I bought one right out of the box working.
better take it back, if you cant figure it out its so simple, better justnhire someone to do it.

Wondering why you don't show how to put it into the mini-mower mode on your demonstrations? It would be helpful if you would.
During mowing you can't use the wheel, so you have to hold it up all the time causing hand fatigue! That's why WORX advertises this as 2 in 1.

I love the Two I have. Wish I had this new mower one. Scared of the gas ones. These r light weight ladies.
Just bought it and it literally has a 20-minute battery on both batteries takes me the entire day to charge them both literally I can only trim a quarter of my yard at a time
They claim on this video that this thing can be used as a mini-mower, yet they never show the conversion of it. Odd, no?
ODD ??? MOST DEFINITELY !!! Wonder Why ???
it is very complicated you will probably not be able to figure it out so they saved you the embaressment of trying
You put the wheels on and just roll it like a mower.its simple.
You can finish around a football field track on just one 20v battery?! And I just bought a 40v one.
awesometacular haha I just bought one today at Walmart.
James Hyre wth I had to pre order mines from walmart ....
I bought the 56V kit it was so worth it, the trimmer is very powerful and the blower is better or as good as the Toro gas blower that we had.
It won't last that long.thats been my only complaint. Battery life
I'll be buying the 20 v version and buy an adapter for a Milwaukee 18V fuel battery as they're the best 18/20v system and I already have a few of them
If you live in a condo with a strip of grass these may be ok if you have a yard buy a 200$ echo if you have a pretty big yard buy a commercial grade weed eater the double helix line is the worst
stevemtc1 my grandma had a huge yard and she had the 40v version of this. not sure why you think you'd need a commercial grade

If you have more money than sense pay someone to do it for you.
it only takes 10 seconds to change the battery,so whats the big deal.
The battery don't last long on these tremors the battery doesn't last long
5 hours to charge each batteries for 20 minutes worx. that will is the probable
quick charger does one in 25min
Get the Milwaukee battery adapter and and then a Milwaukee battery and charger
No way to convert to a mini mower with this mower. there is no hardware on the bottom to accept it.
She makes me nervous the way she throws that weed eater around.
i want one to trim around tomb stones.
