    The gf4 is from 2002, and hdd is also newer. 128m was common, maybe 256m. The win2000 was great, but not for games.

      Yes, I know for the gf4. I'm waiting for a Voodoo 5 instead. The gf4 is the only one I've got at the time of the video.
      And just curious : Why Win 2k is not good for games for you?

      compatibilty issues, more power hungry on slower machines, you lost the direct dos support

      Yes, that's right
      But now I've upgraded it to a 933Mhz processor. I see a little difference in game only when I've got lots of bot but not so much.

    30 fps in quake 3? Not too good, my slot 1 rig runs quake 3 at over 150fps at 1024x768 32bit

      This is not a well optimised map, and I agree that the Geforce 4 MX is not especially powerful too...
