- The Detroit Lions will beat the Los Angeles Rams week 1 of the NFL Football Schedule release on Sunday Night Football. Detroit lead by Jared Goff, Dan Campbell, Brad Holmes, Jahmyr Gibbs, Amon-ra St Brown, and new selection Terrion Arnold. The LA Rams lead by Mathew Stafford x Detroit Lions and year 2 Puka Nacua, but sadly losing Aaron Donald to retirement.

Honestly, I have us losing week one but still winning the division
I wish we played them later in the season. Regardless of what I wish, we will win this game. I'm saying, we are talented enough to go 17-0, but realistically, we will go 14-3 or 15-2. What do y'all think?

I’m always nervous about Lions games with good teams. Take nothing for granted. Rams have lot to play for in this rematch, but Lions are much improved except for a kicker. Will our new secondary be organized and in sync? Will AG have a good game plan and be able to adapt when needed?
Don't under estimate Rams DL. Young and Turner #1 and #2 last year in tackles and sacks for rookies. Brown lll, an anchor at NT. And FSU rookies Fiske (2nd rd) and Verse (1st rd). Plus new DC Chris Shula. All hungry as hell.

Wouldn't be surprised if the rams are prepared for a more than a few of the lions blocking schemes.
Not to mention Mcvay was with goff long enough to know what throws him off.
Lions are the better team, and I hope they win, but it might be more of a slugfest than expected.

As a diehard Lions fan of 40+ years, Kirby Joseph has had multiple questionable hits to opponents knees. The hits against the Rams and Vikings were terrible. There were a few more but I can't recall which teams off the top of my head right now. I'm all for aggressive play. Whether it's my favorite team or not, i don't like the possibility of careers being ended

Well, teams game plan for Aaron Donald. Now that he is gone you don't know how to plan for the different Rams and the Lions are exposed quote Dan Campbell. We will see. Just don't try to use dirty tricks on refs and injuring the Rams players intentionally. I used to think very highly of the Lions and was Goff supporter and liked Lions fans. After the cunning ways they played I hope other teams do the same dirty hits on them this season.
