Thanks for the video. I found it easier to assemble the lifts first, and then attach. I plan to remove the rod. That should help lessen the weight concern,

For anyone viewing with a euro spec nc 3.75 with active bonnet the kit shown will not fit but the good news is that I have found a very simple adaption that does work using a readily available bracket with additional hole drilled and two button head Allen screws. I have photos and bracket details if anyone is interested.

Awesome video! I had this done a couple weeks ago and I’m surprised how identical this kit is compared to Goodwins! Had I known about this, I probably would’ve gone for this instead since it is nearly half the price, and it seems the hood goes up much easier. Cheers!

This is a good price, looks much like the GWR ones but half the price. The GWR dampers aren't that great, they require more effort to lift it up which can bend the hood mounted bracket. This causes a bulge. However the operation on your car looks much smoother.
