playing on solo vs multi is different bc one is dependent on one's ram/gpu (whatever hardware minecraft uses) and one relies on the server specs

@@aoitsukishiro9926 As a consumer, I'm honestly prefer a product that's overall better, sadly the RTXs are currently better for now, someone that's focusing for lots of games and streaming like Moona, you would want the best hardware to support what you need.
But the recent RTX 4000 are obnoxiously overpriced, I don't want to pay what's supposed to be a 70 class card for an 80 class prices (referring to RTX 4080 12gb), they're clearly got drunk with inflated GPUs prices and too big headed to cut down their prices because no one is competing with them on high end cards. Moona going for RTX 3090ti should be enough for a couple of years.
I'm praying that RX 7000 is going to be competitive, competition is the only way keeping the prices in check.

@@aoitsukishiro9926 Sadly NVIDIA has better codex when in comes to streaming. tho i still love the fact that they're now choosing Ryzen CPU's because they're really much better when it comes to gaming, expecially the X3D variants, and the recent CPU''s from AMD is a newer platform compared to Intel LGA1700 which have limited upgradability path now after the 14 series.
I built a similar costing PC in ‘19 right before Covid. I play games and make noises with cigar box guitars I make.
Moona just reminded me about beefy PC of Botan and Matsuri but its an Intel. Oh man they just use the top notch and most OP config of consumer end.

Just curious, did you price those according to what you could get them for in Indonesia? I don't know how pricing is there, but I have seen people in European countries commenting on videos about hardware prices going down saying it happened in the US but not in their country and so on over the past few months, so idk how things are there.

@@itzfaridz2229 surprisingly they're cheaper off 10-15% than you can get in the US for last gens. Current top of the line would be pricier of course but somehow they can get it cheaper in comparison than even when you buy it in China or Malaysia where the parts mainly originated from.

it SHOULD be worth every penny, that's some high tier PC! it should last for at least 3-5 years (less if the industry somehow finds a breakthrough tech or two within the next 2 years).

I feel like the RAM speed is a bit low compared to the rest of the rig.
I was considering upgrading over to either an Intel i7-13700k or Ryzen 7 7700X from a 10850k to get better thermals and power usage, and even I was eyeing at least DDR5 6000 and such a rig would have easily been at least 1 tier lower than what Moona has.
That's a lot of storage, I have 7TB of solid state storage myself but that's spread across 2 NVMEs and 4 SSDs and that 4TB HDD is almost funny, considering it's probably the cheapest part of that build while most people probably don't even have 4TB of storage. And I'd have sprung for a H170i and run it in push/pull if I were in her position.

Buying right at the top end just massively inflates prices. You can get like 95% of the performance for like 50% of the price. With that said, when you are using it for work, much easier to justify the expense.

I was able to upgrade from a 1650 super, 60 hz monitor (I don't remember the type, I think it was the one with better response time), ~1.5 TB of storage split between a HD and an SSD with I think a 4 core CPU (I don't remember, I think it was a Ryzen 5??), a just certified power source that supplied just enough power and 16 gbs of RAM amongst a couple things that was like ~1200 CAD (~1300 with shipping) cause the parts didn't really go on sale (the most they dropped was like 17%)
Now, I recently put together a list of parts for a potential PC that would have cost me upwards of 2000 CAD without tax and shipping ~4 years ago when I built the previous desktop, stuff like a 2060, 75hz monitor (the one that balances out response time and color vibrancy, I don't remember the type) that's also bigger than the previous one, ~2TB of storage on SSDs, potential for 32 GBs of 3200 DDR4 (but I'm probably still gonna stick with 16GB, unless I pick up video editing again), a Ryzen 5500 I believe with 6 cores this time I think and a whole bunch of upgraded stuff
All for ~1300 CAD with tax included (probably around 1400 CAD with shipping)
Since you know how to get the most performance for the lowest price, you should be just as elated as I am to be able to really capitalize on people just selling off their stuff or demand for said items dropping
95% is a bit much but yeah you can get 90% specs out of like 20-30% off discount buying new last gens parts or even more cheaper at 50% out of used parts sections.
Since Bitcoin mining is out of fashion expect used 30 series to hit the market.

Oh, she's on Ryzen 7000 series already! I'm leaning towards them as they're all APUs(contingency) and they're really good.
The DDR5 RAM is expensive, but at least the new Ryzen 7000s and 13th Gen Intels have memory controllers to properly use them.
Glad she got a reputable high end PSU and a large one at that. She's gonna need it if she's going to a 4090 lol. I don't know if a 4090 will fit in that case as they are stupid big, but they are sweet.
For a second I didn't think she had a boot drive in her m.2 slot, but thankfully she knew to do that as that's a very high speed data connection.
That case is a little high in price, but it's worth it if it looks really nice and is conveniently functional. The Cooler Master HAF 700 EVO is really nice, but expensive like that.
Also, water cooling a 3090 ti is a good idea and half it's memory modules are right up against the graphics processor and the memory tends to sit around 95°c to 105°c during use.
They're technically APUs, so you're not wrong, but they're not what people would call "APU" these days. The ones we call APUs have better iGPU bundled along. Those are actually competing with popular entry-level dGPUs.
This is not to say that the 7 series iGPUs are bad, of course not. You can still play games on them, within reason. It's just that AMD's new 7 series are meant to be paired with a dGPU, so AMD intentionally skimp on their iGPU side. CPU side is really good though, and AMD has promised to at least support this new AM5 platform to 2025. That makes this platform a really good choice for future-proofing your build. I'm looking to upgrade to a Ryzen 7 series myself, just... uh, waiting for more boards to come out so hopefully the price goes down a bit... 😣

I mean, when you're working on your computer all the time creating content you'd WANT it to be quite beefy. I can't tell you how many times I've seen instances of girls' avatars spazzing out or games freezing because their computers couldn't handle the strain. The new RTX4090 looks to be quite insane but REALLY I don't know if she NEEDS IT given that she's already got a 3090TI. Like, I just can't imagine that she's hit the end of what that graphics card can do just yet but the good thing is that, assuming she has space for that HUGE ASS GRAPHICS CARD inside her PC, she can basically just do a direct upgrade and then sell her 3090TI. But again, that's assuming it'll fit neatly into her current case because the RTX4090 is incredibly large.

Everything looks good except that casing and Seagate, spends too much on casing, could just use the extra (a lot of extra) money to upgrade the CPU or get better monitor or save it to upgrade GPU (RTX 4000). Don't get Seagate HDD, you spent a lot on everything else but then your HDD is Seagate, the standard option is Western Digital for HDD, Seagate is trash.

a 3090 can be had for anywhere between 800 to 1000 USD right now.
But, SEA prices haven't adjusted since the crypto crash.
I'm still looking at an RTX 3060 12gb costing 500 dollars local prices.
2nd hand markets ain't any better, and miners refuse to sell their assets to make us suffer.
Then can I count VN as not an SEA countries then, as I just take a quick look and found two 2ndhand 3070Ti with warranty until 2025 for ~400 USD, a mined RX6700xt warranty 2024 ~210USD; RTX 3060 are available new also roughly around the 350-400 USD mark (eg. ASUS Dual 3060 V2 for ~375 USD alone, and ~325USD as part of a full build from 2 different retailers).
Prices are not great compare to NA and maybe EU, but it is roughly back to launch day prices for new items.

She's probably rocking a SUPRIM X 3090 ti which is around $1300 USD before sales tax, could also be a Gaming Trio card but that's still $1250 or so. And those are prices in the US yet alone SEA which if converted back to USD is more expensive.

I assure you, they're not. She streams games. As a streamer, I'd imagine she'd want to be able to let the viewers see the games in their best graphical details, on HD and up. That warrants a higher-end dGPU.
High-end dGPUs today are power hogs. Consuming 300W all on its own is not unheard of. Not even counting the CPU, memory, drives, all those cooler fans, her radiator, the bling-bling RGBs, and last but not least her peripherals. 1200W for the entire system is reasonable, especially since you need to consider upgrade paths. Future components might become even more power hungry.
IMHO, her PSU is slightly underwhelming considering the cost of her other components. I wouldn't call Gigabyte trash. They're pretty decent. But at the same time, when it comes to PSUs, they don't exactly have the best reputation either. It is Platinum, but honestly, at this price point, I think it's better to just go with EVGA or Corsair instead.
Then again, mine is a moldy 6th gen Intel with a measly 16gb memory. I don't think I have the right to judge her PC decisions 🥲
