Drill and tap so the set screws thread through the pipes instead of just the pressure holding it
I may just get different lengths of pipe. Will see how it works out this season.
I think I'd go with two different diameter pipes to make a "Hitch Pin" set up to adjust the support heights. Still might rattle a bit, but if you drill the Pin holes as close to tolerance as you can, it shouldn't be awful.
I had to re-drill one but they are normally just tight enough to not rattle.
