Good morning everyone. Really cool. Did someone say it couldn't be done, and Betafpv said hold my beer.? 🍺 I like it. I really like the O3 air unit. Number one thing they need to do is allow me to use what ever lipo I want. Your suggestions make sense, see if they implement them. I've learned flying micros in windy conditions, especially with strong gusts can be detrimental to your enjoyment. Happy flying everyone. 😎
I'm so happy that the mini drone using 03 unit finally came out. I think it is very expensive for students to play with, but it is also small, so we can fly it anywhere.
Looks different for sure, seems like a great indoor cinema rig for all sorts of purposes. I agree with your battery mount comment, make design to accept a range of battery sizes. As for the O3 mounting system, maybe Betafpv will release more quads like this in different size. So all you have to do is move the O3 mounting system over. Great review and recommendations Albert ✌️👍
It looks really nice. While The outward appearance is eye catching, I do realize that until you actually build it, you do not know of the hang up associated with the build. As you mentioned, I found with whoops a battery strap is far better solution that a battery tray. I'm not an expert with building whoops, but easily accessible screw points would make this a better whoop. Stl files for those wishing to print their own replacement canopy/cages is a big plus. All of your suggestion to make this a better whoop fame "would make this a better whoop." I like the idea of semi-complete kits, sours your own air unit/vista/walksnail, etc. Great intro Albert.
very nice platform for cruising around and capturing cinematic footage. If the battery last decent amount of time, and comfortably take light crashes then this would be definitely on my potential buying list.
I was going to sign up for the beta test, but I don't have a 3D printer. Looks good. Been waiting for a sub-100 with O3. can't wait to get my hands on one once it's final
Cool little setup. Not sold on this being 2s and but I love the modularity of the canopy design. Imagine taking this and easily plopping it on other frames without spending much time. I agree with your assessment and great job!
Wow betafpv actually doing testing before production, I am shocked, lol, jk. I am impressed with the 3+ minute flight time, was expecting it to be more like 2 minutes with that combo.
The footage indoors is pretty boring but clean. I'll post a link in the description later. The noise level is very good for a cinewhoop. Not as loud as you would expect. FYI, this is just a prototype, so not a full review.
@@AlbertKimTV Thanks. Is it quieter than the Cinelog 20 ? I have both Cinelog 25 and 20 mounted with the O3. The Cinelog 20 is not as quiet as I would like
That is so cool. ❤ little guy like a baby avata 😅for the neighborhood. I think 3s would be perfect I have a thinking p16 with a vista and it’s perfect on 3s but I suppose someone could make it a 3s my opinion 😅
@@AlbertKimTV yeah the p16 struggles on 2s with a vista so I imagine an air unit weighing more would have an even harder time:) so it is like a baby avata underpowered
No mention of the Japan registration limit change from under 200gr down to 100gr in June 2022? I think this design is a result of that change (BetaFPV trying to be inclusive of that market).
AFAIK, it doesn't exist yet. You'll have to custom DIY build one. Probably strip down one of the 360 cameras to get the weight under 250g. It sounds like a difficult project and one I would not even try myself. Too hard even for rme.
I think that quad manufacturers are missing a trick, I would buy loads of quads if they were bind and fly but missing the O3 / vista. I've got a few (like many) in older quads. I want a new BNF without having to build and tune, but I can't justify the cost of buying one with another air unit. Make loads of BNF without air units please.
@@AlbertKimTV sorry for the confusion. Yes, I would like PNP without air unit. Probably would end up buying quite a few different models to play with. I'm sure Im not alone in having many quads, some I no longer fly so would be happy to transplant the air unit. I didn't know that flywoo did fully built PNP without air unit, Ill check out their site.
The BetaFPV N03 / MN03 Its an adorable first attempt probably too rich for my blood for now still and though I don't have bite HDZ ect ""IMO those are better for this size"" mostly because of the snap bobbles in the lets say Nano system steady go ect probably not as useful for an added say $100 though it is windy and they can still fly smooth and probably the right tool for some jobs. Might help to have the unit on the bottom sink the 03 cammera down and back a bit more with a better covered/integrated cam cage depending how heavy the battery's are or a 3s help have solid yet distributed weight around the props and a central mass on the bottom maybe to help...dont know just ideas...

thats pretty cute
I want 1! Here💰💰 take my money!
agree with your assessment on this whoop. some of the comments I see here are just so ignorant. clearly they don't fly micros.
Ignore the trolls!!!
I think it is a great setup.
They should leave the design as is for ease of installation and everyday operation.
I have all the supporting systems and have had a hard time finding what I wanna do with my 03😅❤
This could be it!
@@AlbertKimTV heck yeah that’s what I’m thinking, the 5in fettec is pretty crazy for a 3s also!!
I'd def try going naked O3 save 9g to 14g depending on naked u go. I wouldn't plan on freestyling crash too hard.. I just wouldn't decase camera
Amazing flying and review, Albert! 😃
Pretty weird looking quad indeed! But the footage looks great!
Anyway, stay safe there with your family! 🖖😊
I tried to get in this beta test

Not sure if this can remain under 100g on 3S. Probably only if the air unit is stripped down.
OMG TAKE MY 💰💰💰💰💰💰💰
🤑🤑🤑
I’d love to try one of these out, i want something to freestyle inside the house, would this do the trick?
No, this is not for freestyle
Wow betafpv actually doing testing before production, I am shocked, lol, jk. I am impressed with the 3+ minute flight time, was expecting it to be more like 2 minutes with that combo.
Surprisingly close to 4 minutes in wind. Indoors its over 4 minutes. If you strip down the air unit, I bet the flight time goes up even more.
what flight time did you get out of it? =)
4:00 to 4:30
Would have been nice to see some indoor footage and some information on the noise level
The footage indoors is pretty boring but clean. I'll post a link in the description later. The noise level is very good for a cinewhoop. Not as loud as you would expect. FYI, this is just a prototype, so not a full review.
can you fly the pavo pico with HV batteries or will it break with 4.7v
HV battery is 4.35v. I don't know what battery is 4.7v but that's probably not good for the quad.
Nice preview. I wonder hoe loud this drone is
Surprisingly not that loud.
@@AlbertKimTV Thanks. Is it quieter than the Cinelog 20 ? I have both Cinelog 25 and 20 mounted with the O3. The Cinelog 20 is not as quiet as I would like
I think an indoor flight would of been suited for its intended design. Great info thanks
Yes, this is intended for indoors but I wanted to show it in worst case conditions to show what the footage would look like in crazy wind.

Not a chance the P16 would ever be under 100g with battery and O3 air unit so not perfect for sub 100g applications.

I don't live in Japan and don't follow regulations outside the U.S..... I barely know what's going on in the U.S. since things change all the time.
@@AlbertKimTV no worries, just thought I would point out the "why" of a sub 100gr O3 (I don't live in japan either)
needs a lens protector to have some fun - cant believe sub 100 wow!
I have UV filters just didn't put them on
I'm in a quest to find a drone with a 360 camera under 250g. It's quite a challenge.

What is the price
It's probably going to be around $125 to $150 without the O3 air unit but it's just a guess. I mentioned this in the video.
Whatever they make, people will buy anyway.
Yeah, they will buy it despite whatever people say in the comments.
