Just saying as a kid myself and my friend, bet a farmer when we were working for him we could get rid of all the Rats in one day , we bet him a day off with pay, We took hose and taped it to the exhaust of a vehicle ran it down one of t e holes the rats lived in, Then waited with big Grain shovels and as they burrowed out of solid ground where they could we crushed them. The Farmer was was very surprised and happy and paid us for our day off. True story, this happened in Nebraska, USA.

We used to love sneaking down to the dairy at night and have at the rats. A good time was had by all, armed only with a flashlight and a bit of old poly-pipe. No fancy IR scopes for us back then... they would've been too hard to attach to the poly-pipe anyway.

I find your videos to be oddly satisfying... even relaxing!
Those animals are terrible not only for humans but for the local wildlife as well since they compete with them.
In southern Brazil we're having a hard time dealing with boars brought from abroad: no natural predators, a LOT of destruction to local wildlife, water sources and farms. Hunters are having a hard time...

    • @SouthOZHobbyHunter

As with your feral boars, it is the same with the feral cats, dogs, boars, goats and several other non native invasive animals that we have here. Australia has no large natural predators to cope with them.
