I did a review on it, but yes I had the same problems that you had. I did like the hummer technique, being 7 studs wide. Nice model, interesting build, but I decided to destroy the helicopter. Overall, worst building blocks.. ever.

All being well I'll review some more Best Lock sets. They do a lot of military stuff which always gets me interested.
