      Hi,
Massage Tehrapists, Physiotherapists, Chiro's and Osteopaths are all capable of utilizing this technique.
My go to would be an Osteopath as it's in their education.
A full history and assessment needs to be completed in order to determine a plan of treatment which may or may not include this technique.
Good Luck with everything and I hope you find some help that improves your breathing issues.

Very good technique! Would be nice if you could show me how I can do this same manipulation technique to myself? Thank you!

It’s an invasive surgical procedure. They literally pleats your diaphragm like a “skirt” put running sutures through it to suspend it down. They can do it thru robotics but mine was an open procedure because my diaphragm was to stuck.

It seems that some of this pressure could be achieved by lying on your stomach in different ways.

I guess a patient with a triple AAA would not qualify for this type of treatment! My diaphragm on left was plicated 15yrs ago surgically do to palsy of phrenic nerve. Elevation reoccurrence, very painful. Now to find what’s causing it?

Can you do this technique standing up?

Hi, Thanks for the great question.
Yes it can be done standing, sitting etc. As long as you understand the biology and principles of treatment and can effectively explain to the patient what you are doing and why, and what you want them to do with their breathing etc... you can do it.
