South Africa, Australia, coast of California. Sometimes Guadalupe Island, up and down the East Coast depending on the season. We had one pinging off the coast of NC, a 14-foot female.
We get a few of those in the gulf but this isn't a place where a bunch of them hang out in great numbers, though we see more in the winter months. Some migrate from the US east coast and come down for the winter then leave again when it gets warmer. You're much more likely to run into a blacktip, tiger, mako or bull shark. Or hammerhead, which we have plenty of. You see those a lot close to shore because they love to chase the sting rays that hang out in the very shallow- and I mean like less than knee deep- water but your likelihood of being attacked by one is about zero. There's never been a fatal hammerhead attack on record and few bites. They splash a lot though, and freak people out. Our bull sharks are another story. That's what will probably get you if you're swimming off the gulf coast of Florida. They're super aggressive and unlike other sharks, they won't bite once then realize you're not their food & leave you alone. No, they'll keep coming back to rip your a** apart. We had several people attacked just this summer over in Panama City, I think. No one died but I think one girl lost an arm.
@@mommy2libras You’re so right about the Bulls. They are extremely aggressive. I think of the “Big 3” I believe the Bull is more dangerous than Tigers or Great Whites. I think the Oceanic White-tip is another very aggressive shark. But you want encounter those unless you’re in open ocean.

The guy claims to be a victim of an assault yet says they shouldn't arrest him after trying to drown a cop and resisting them while on the boat. Smh
Looks like the cop grabbed him. Not the other way around.

Too many body cameras to get away with that.
@@diamondjim7560 No, it's normal. If you don't edit the video like frauditors, this is what you get. That's why police cams are good for police. That is a great feature that the officer had at 11:39. He had a personal floatation device that self inflated. That is a cool feature for situations just like this.
It sucks when your driving a bass boat in Lake Michigan and you spear a wave lol😂. I’ve had them inflate on me three times like that.
It didn't work BECAUSE that criminal was holding the LEO under water!!!! I'm relieved he was charged with attempted murder along with everything else!!! I pray the female victim is recovering and doesn't have any permanent damage.
Horbie... reminds me of the white cloths seaman would wear that turns a bright orange when splashed with water... as big as waves on the ocean get, it ended about the same as your experience lmao. Curious if they still use them... think it was a bit after ww2 when they first used them, like in the 50s or 60s.
@horbie5039 they are that sensitive? Or did you get soaked?
the water there is literally just chest depth you can just about walk all the way to anclote island from shore at low tide
Where's a Great White Shark when you need one.
Sea world. 🐋

You don’t feel anything while drowning it’s actually the most peaceful way to die
Did you see the other cop in the water pushing his ass in the boat ? I was so happy to see him helping ! And dude just flopped and didn't move. He goes straight to the emergency room, to check the level of water in his lungs, and don't let him out til it's resolved. I watch Bondi Beach lifeguards, and it's terrifying, and so many people are 2 foot away and unaware. But strangely it's kinda of helped me with my fears, they're a good bunch of blokes who pull jokes and work late and explain a lot. Even with the drunks they're cool.
