i think lean is a bit like an artist’s artist, like a lot of regular ppl have probably never heard much of his music (unless they were tapped in to the soundcloud scene back then or are just heavily online music nerds), but a lot of other artists tend to be inspired by his work and how unorthodox it is. ppl like travis scott and playboi carti have showed him big love many times
