A lot to love here around the way this video was written and the warmth of the people. However, “see you around like a donut” is a phrase I’ve never heard and now love! Salute’!
( Robert Diello 🇺🇸 🇮🇹 ) Wow ! That seems like a great place with great people and great food; and a great festival. I'm originally from New Jersey but my family moved out west when I was a boy. I'm still here and I'm 54 now but I've actually been thinking about moving to Arkansas for some time now. This may have clinched it for me, lol 😆 😂 🤣. I never knew this place existed until now. Best of luck with The Festival and God bless 🙏. 🇺🇸 🇮🇹 💪 ( after we moved out west in the 1970's I remember my Dad referring to us as rednecks, I always say I'm a Spaghetti Western ; they put chili on their Spaghetti here. So ,who knows ? Maybe I'd fit in ! ) Anyhow y'all seem like my kind of people. Thanks for the great video ! 🍷 🍇 🍅 Enjoy !
NW Arkansas is a beautiful part of the country. I grew up on the eastern side of the state. Mosquitoes aplenty. Live in West Virginia nowadays. No mosquitoes and milder temps in the summer.
I remember visiting Tontitown in around 1972 when I was maybe 6 years old with my parents from Italy. We looked up Mary Maestri. (My father's grandmother was a Maestri from Mantova - like the Tontitown Maestri's) I can't believe I remembered this.
Wow. You don't think of Italian and Arkansas in the same place or sentence. That was inspiring. Someone who's been living in (Scranton) PA for too long (I miss New York) my son and I have faced many prejudices and discrimination despite the heavy presence of Italian Americans and some from NY. I'm not say IA discriminated us, but have not had a connection with them.
How is it that this channel has way less subscribers than Growing Up Italian who just has a bunch of cafones as their guests rambling on about non-sense. This channel is 10× more educational, informative and professional. You actually learn something here! Keep up the good work!
Great video exploring the culture and community here! Well put together. My favorite part was the humor around the absence of zeppoles 😂 Looking forward to seeing more videos from you guys! - Nick Cozzarelli (@nickcozz)
Awesome video! Had no clue there was a town in Arkansas with that kind of Italian history down here in my part of the country (Texas). We're planning a trip to Hot Springs in the future. This gives me another location to check out. Btw, Rosella, you look great. 😎
This was so great. Excellent production quality! Thank you so much for making these wonderful videos. When you make it California you are going to have to cover a lot of towns. There are a lot of Italians in the SF Bay Area, and the adjacent Central Valley in towns like Oakdale, Stockton and Merced.

I grew up in the area and seen people that I know in this video!
My husband never heard of this. Born and raised in Arkansas (not a redneck). However he came to appreciate Italian food when spending Christmas with his mom and Step father who was from Italy.
I think you live in a bubble and disconnected. Many Italian Americans in Staten Island and Long Island vote republican. So many Americans do not travel to other parts of America and don’t even travel the world and are ignorant
This whole story and the background of the town's history really warms my heart!
Love yous guys show, a real treat when yas upload a video, stata buon🇮🇹🇮🇹🇮🇹💪💪💪🇺🇸🇺🇸🇺🇸
Love the exotic food...a little red neck...and a little red sauce. Spaghetti and fried chicken..People, traditions forever in Tontitown.
Our tribe is literally everywhere. I love these episodes. Keep them coming!

I never knew about Tontitown, nice episode. Grapes on pizza sounds interesting.
Great video. Love how you show another part of Italian Americans. Especially when you were stomping grapes .
I love your Italian colored rose image!!!😍🥰🤗🌹❤🤍💚☺🙂
I cannot believe I missed this festa this August. I would have driven from Dallas for that mass, cugini, and fried chicken-pasta.
My family in Missouri gets so much joy from knowing they are so close to their culture. Hello Rossella!!

I have an uncle in New Jersey, he's lived there for decades.
This was awesome please go to St. Louis and discover our little Italy. Please please please
Wow! I never would have guessed the Italian diaspora to be celebrated in Arkansas. THANK YOU for sharing.
I’ve visited Arkansas. It’s a terrible state but there are good fascinating things there that are definitely interesting and likable
Beautiful tradition 🥰 thank you for sharing this amazing history with us ❤ it's truly appreciated 🥰 🇮🇹
I have had the spaghetti and fried chicken at Venetian Inn inTontitown. Also, the sirloin with spaghetti. It was all tasty good

We used to eat in Tontitown back in the early 70s when we moved to Bentonville. Our daughter is an Arkansasan.
Anything Italian I love..🇮🇹🇮🇹🇮🇹🇮🇹
Same here!❤🤍💚 Viva La Italia!!!

Same . Syracuse NY
È proprio vero, dovunque si vada si trovano italiani! Complimenti! Viva l’Italia!
Ci trovi di tutti dovunque
I knew there’s a large Italian immigrant presence in West Virginia and Louisiana, but never heard about Arkansas. Very fascinating.

Been here for 20yrs now and this is the first time I’m hearing about this place
Apart from the horrid fried chicken and spaghetti , the feast is very reminiscent of sagre or feste held during the summertime around Italy.
Every Sunday fired chicken and spaghetti
🍝
It's GRAVY, not sauce! As a Canzano extraction from Napoli, the chicken and spaghetti sounds awful, but, I am intrigued!!
Back to Europe

Not ONE Alfa Romeo
My family are trump supporters from the Midwest. They really don’t like “eye-talians” my dad says they are no different from Mexicans or Puerto Ricans

My family are Trump supporters are we are proud Italians 🇮🇹 ❤️
