Tommy g. That comment that you made about President Biden that this message is for you. When you had the gun in your hand. A lot of people are going to look at that like that's a threat, a terrorist attack. So you got to be careful what you say because you better hope and pray they don't come after you and find you and put you in jail for what you said. I’m a Californian and I was a salesman for Eastman, I had many meetings at the main office at Kingsport. The ppl there were without a doubt very respectful and down to earth. The women that worked at the offices dressed like you would expect for a huge company. Their accents were cool, down to earth ppl.
Thanks Tommy and Shocka for spreading the love, that's right if we Americans were unified regardless of skin color, gender, or belief system, this country will prosper and yes the elites would be shitting in the their pants, they get their power by divide and conquer.
As a black man, i was nervous when i moved to East Tennessee. Probably because of the typical stereotypes, but them hillbillies treated me better than my own family. Truly some good people. Miss East Tennessee. Moved back to Chicago because of work opportunities.
As an east tennesseeian it's about taking care of the people you care about and the ones who has your back whether it's family or not.glad you met some good people with true southern hospitality
We show you that family ain’t shit and it’s the good people around you and don’t give a fuck about the skin tone most rednecks aren’t racist they are genuinely good people who work and have fun
I was stationed at Fort Campbell for 5 years and I loved Tennessee. They are hard core supporters of the military. I grew up in north Florida where it’s all county so Tennessee was like home to me those 5 years.
Absolutely love this! Finally a video representing true Appalachian culture instead of the typical stereotype! This is my siblings hometown and I always thought my town (Erwin) would be considered the most redneck but it’s damn good to know we have these kinds of people in good old E-Town too! Hope to see many more videos like this!! Thank you!!
Lol i know you are but what am I? Nice comeback. The funny thing is you recoil at these people because your liberal, cosmopolitan worldview has conditioned you to look down on them. But the reality is that gun violence out in these areas is next to non-existent. Unlike most urban areas under liberal policies and tough gun laws, which havr become dystopian, violence filled hell holes. And this is from someone born and raised in CT. Ive just been around enough different places and people to know better. You just sound ike some out of touch, coastal elitist. Probably why you cant relate.
Wow this was a truly genuine piece on the Appalachian sub culture! This is me, this is my friends and family. Everything said was relevant and relatable! God bless all his children! Thanks y’all
It was so much fun to meet Tommy and his camera guys I hope y’all had fun at my little southern slice of paradise and I hope to see you again before too long!!!
I liked this one because as a black man I got to see how some country white people are. When he said anyone can come here and have fun i felt like he meant it. I wouldn't mind chillin with some friends in the woods doin burnouts and shooting guns. That feels a lot like the freedom some of us seek but the difference is you cant get away with it in the city n suburbs. Mfs will call the cops and stop the fun. They seem like they are more focused about having fun with they boys than gettin into it with people, they just wanna work on they cars n drink n have fun. Break the truck n fix it again. Man shit.
You're always welcome. Don't buy the stereotypes. I love the fact folks are open minded and willing to try new things. I'm the same way. I hope you get to experience this. God Bless

I'm so glad that Tommy G finally made a video that represented where I come from and the lifestyle I live. I am greatly satisfied with this video because I felt that it corrected and knocked most off the stereotypes about our lifestyles on there face.
These guys seem awesome, even though they don't seem like the kind of people I'd hang out with on a regular basis, it would be fun to spend a day with them. Thanks again for a great episode, helping to show the world that most everyone on earth can get along with one another just fine, and that we need to stop caving into the division that certain people in power have been sowing into the people.

Man that clip from 11:35-11:55 gave me chills. Unify 🇺🇸 We The People That was truth being spoken right there. Young right now but so happy I get the opportunity to raise my future children to show them what’s right and true.
Unify who??? Us black folks are here as slave descendants, and we're still being heavily manipulated. The problems these folks started in the inner cities is still going on, nothing has been done but enhancements to make sh worse. Look what theyve done with our music and culture, its alot of sh going on behind the scenes. We're not trying to unify with anyone until we're even or this country is completely regulated with a new government. When you bring this shyt up, they say all black ppl do is complain. Who tf sits back silent and lets someone get over on them??? We not unifying until we get even or this country is completely regulated. This country was taken in blood we gone get it back in blood. The same way it was taken is how it will be taken from them. Karma is real and the universe doesn't lie..
This was really wholesome. These people seem so friendly and welcoming and not only that also intelligent and respectful. Totally misrepresented in the media and culture
I’m from SoCal. Single mom, moved to Alcoa, TN with my daughter. We love it! Met some great people, enjoying the beauty, thunderstorms & pontoons (you don’t see em in SoCal) still shooting and figuring out where to buy a home. After ppl ask where I’m from I say, southern CA, - I’m Republican, don’t give me sh*t and they just laugh and then all is well 😂
This has got to be one of your best videos ever! They’re right about everyone getting together. American is comin to where we have to choose what we want as a country, WE THE PEOPLE!
Hey Tommy just wanna say watching your videos have been really helping me through my mental health journey. Keep up the amazing work and content you do man!
3:39 that is so sad about his brother. But I feel like that was the universes way of letting you say goodbye before he went. I had it happen to me before with my old babysitter/family friend who I loved dearly. She didn’t die of drugs. But she was healthy and died suddenly of a heart attack or something like that only a week after we ran into each other. I was locked up as a juvenile and for sick so they took me out in shackles to go to the hospital where she was a nurse. I hadn’t seen her in years and we both cried when she we saw each other. I cried because I missed her so much and because I was ashamed to be infront of her in shackles She cried because she missed me and was sad to see me in shackles. She died a week later. I’m sad she died but I was so sooo grateful we got to hug each other and tell each other what we meant to each other. Edit: just realized that maybe all of this isn’t something I shoulda typed in a RUclips comment. But I already typed it so there it is.
I’m from Kingsport. All my family are from that area. They have been farming and raising cattle in the Carter Valley region for over 100years. I moved to California (Bay Area) with my family in 1988. From there, over the years I have lived in Chicago, DC, and Denver but now live Just south of Nashville. I am currently trying to move back to the Tri Cities area as fast as possible. Love you fellas for being there and showing the world how good and beautiful the culture there is. I have tried and tried to tell people how beautiful and loving the people of east TN and Appalachia really are. I have also tried to convey to everyone how much racism really isn’t a thing there. Your neighbor is your neighbor.. black, white, Indian.. we all struggle and fight to survive the same. When I grew up there everyone helped one another regardless of how much money they had or lacked. People there understand that together is better than against one another.
100%, and may may make an enemy here but your welcome any time. Same to yall, we grillin, come on then! Dont worry bout Br or what have ya... Music will be as pleased and just enjoy yourself
So far I am loving this video! I am a black man from the DMV. The Washington DC area. I feel bad to hear about the chronic drug problem in Eastern Tennessee. The drug problem is all over this country. Would I be accepted in their town? I hope so. These dudes are down to earth straight genuine! I love that!
Mr. Smith everyone is accepted around here. In God’s eyes we’re all the same. The biggest majority of people from the greater Tri-Cities area were raised to believe nobody is better than anyone else and that life brings with it enough hardship without us making more for ourselves.
I live right across the state line in nc through Roan mountain about 20 minutes from these boys and I about guarantee you that you'd be welcomed there or up here where we're from. Just a good old bunch of country boys that loves everybody.
Im from Illinois my wife from West Virginia. When we visit her family I feel like I belong. Most of them are just like these folks. Just the state alone feels more like freedom then ive ever known. They are very respectful, welcoming, and know how to have a good time. It is my second home and these folks are right about everything.
My dad taught me how to drive when I was five years old in upper Michigan. Hunting camping, trapping and camping since I was a kid with my father. I am 62 years old now and still and still love to do donuts in the snow. In pop wheelies at the intersections.
Instead of dad, I called my father which He preferred to be called. he hit a beer bottle at 297 paces in the red desert of Wyoming with his 3030 Winchester open sites. The other guy Richard Rakowski was all kinds of trophies refused to even shoot against my father for $20 a shot in the 1950s which would be like $200 a shot today.

I’m a Californian and I was a salesman for Eastman, I had many meetings at the main office at Kingsport. The ppl there were without a doubt very respectful and down to earth. The women that worked at the offices dressed like you would expect for a huge company. Their accents were cool, down to earth ppl.
amen! Ive been in C.A all my life and cannot stand the gun laws, which is why im moving to texas. well, not the only reason but its a big one haha
Y'all Cali folks start complaining when y'all get to TX! All of sudden, it's too loose, and more laws need to be here. Gtfoh!!!
@@jl8754 Im still moving to texas if you like it or not, you can't gatekeep a whole ass state haha go cry to ya momma lil boy
@@jl8754 thats just a generalization
i moved to east Tennessee from ca. they hate people from ca. but loved me.
Im from Kingsport TN and this is the best video that shows the truth of our area!!!
My kind of people... Honest and upstraight, enjoying the small things! Greetings from Norway
greetings from west tennesee!
Love from NC, USA 🇺🇸 come visit sometime! The South is great
It’s awesome to see that the small things make these people happy. Honestly it would be fun to live there in another lifetime
When he said "He just broke something, we gotta have a moment of silence" I knew he was a true gearhead lol, keep on truckin' boys!
I live in these same woods. Just over the mountain in western North Carolina. Love my neighbors from Eastern Tennessee
Virginia welcomes you too man, God bless you
As an east tennesseeian it's about taking care of the people you care about and the ones who has your back whether it's family or not.glad you met some good people with true southern hospitality
We show you that family ain’t shit and it’s the good people around you and don’t give a fuck about the skin tone most rednecks aren’t racist they are genuinely good people who work and have fun
Repping SC in your name. 803!
When you move down south, we're all family. Southern hospitality is a thing that will never die.
As a black man, they sound like good, solid folk to me. Not trying to impress and looking out for each other. Right on!
Whyte power
Red necks are racist, I met some in the military and they would attack me for no reason other than I am Mexican.

Been watching you for a week now Tommy. Top tier documentaries my man, cant get enough. Awesome work!!!!!!!
I was stationed at Fort Campbell for 5 years and I loved Tennessee. They are hard core supporters of the military. I grew up in north Florida where it’s all county so Tennessee was like home to me those 5 years.
What part of north Florida I’m also from north Florida?
Definitely appreciate you showing this bro nothing but respect 💯🫡👌👍.
Very smart of them not to mix firearms and alcohol especially on video. Video was awesome didn’t want it to end. Keep up the awesome work!
If only they'd play some D.A.Coe or some Johnny Rebel
@@hakenkreuz7076 yeah imagine that.
Been around people down here that don’t have the sense to not do that lol
I admire these folks lives . You guys are truly blessed with a great piece of American country side .
Thank you!!
as someone whos watched all of tommy's videos these guys seem the most fun and most relatable
Wow! I can't relate to any of these positive commenters. I'm grateful to live a longer and safer life up north far away from the gun culture. smh
@@looking4things669 Lady, grow up.
@@chasehill7879 Lol! You're looking in the mirror.
Most people of Tennessee are alcoholic ver.mines
Lol i know you are but what am I? Nice comeback. The funny thing is you recoil at these people because your liberal, cosmopolitan worldview has conditioned you to look down on them. But the reality is that gun violence out in these areas is next to non-existent. Unlike most urban areas under liberal policies and tough gun laws, which havr become dystopian, violence filled hell holes. And this is from someone born and raised in CT. Ive just been around enough different places and people to know better. You just sound ike some out of touch, coastal elitist. Probably why you cant relate.
I like these Guys! God bless you - much love and respect from Germany!
D´deutschen rednecks also uch schon hei!!! Yee Yee
Yoo i think this was the best support you have had on a video.
Wow this was a truly genuine piece on the Appalachian sub culture! This is me, this is my friends and family. Everything said was relevant and relatable! God bless all his children! Thanks y’all

Man absolutely amazing to see yalls hospitality and show him what real southern folk is all about. Best vid I've seen him make ever!!

"With a degree and great work history" ... sheeesh
Big Curt Dawg!!
Dude you’re a bad ass! When I first saw you I was intrigued but you are the definition of never judge a book by its cover, love what you’re about man!
Man shit.
Yut. That’s it!
You're always welcome. Don't buy the stereotypes. I love the fact folks are open minded and willing to try new things. I'm the same way. I hope you get to experience this. God Bless
That’s it. Any part of Tn ur welcome.

Come on out any time brother! This is how 98% of us rednecks are! Don’t believe what social media portrays 💪
East Tennessee is the most beautiful and place in America. I love it here. Been here for 16 years. And I’ll never leave. God Bless Tennessee!!
Dang, I’m a Carolina/Ga area black guy and I must say, those fellas look hella fun to hang out with! Who would’ve known backwoods TN was that lit! Nice video!💯💪🏿
Thanks again for a great episode, helping to show the world that most everyone on earth can get along with one another just fine, and that we need to stop caving into the division that certain people in power have been sowing into the people.

the dude with the mask is really well spoken and i'm glad you gave him the time in the video, it reminds me of my childhood to a T and how misrepresented the south and southerners as a whole are and that dude and others helped spread the message of "not all of us are cousin fuckin lunatics" LMFAO its a great breath of fresh air frl
I thought the same.
I love love these young men! I'm black from the DMV Washington DC area. These young men are great people!

What an amazing group of people. Totally changed my perception
They really aren't 😂😂😂😂
Man that clip from 11:35-11:55 gave me chills. Unify 🇺🇸 We The People
That was truth being spoken right there.
“When the people come together” preach bro
The way I was grinnin from ear to ear watching these boys have the time of their lives- this was a breath of fresh air. Thank you Tommy! 💛💛😂😘🛻🛻🛻
Bro, those Redneck bars hit hard as fuck like what the fuck I never knew
People clown, but these are the types of guys that’ll show you hospitality, fun times & friendship you won’t find in many places.
Keep pushing man its tough sometimes but you will make it out
idk how you kept putting out SUCH FIRE CONTENT. Every video is getting better and better
These guys are awesome. What a bunch of good people.
I was recently introduced to Tennessee and I appreciate this video. In my experience, the hospitality was comparable to that of Newfoundland, Canada.
This looks like it was the most fun mini-doc you've done. I'd love to explore places like this and get to know some of them.
Tommy really leveled up with this one this is insane quality and pacing, amazing
I cried because I missed her so much and because I was ashamed to be infront of her in shackles
She cried because she missed me and was sad to see me in shackles.
She died a week later. I’m sad she died but I was so sooo grateful we got to hug each other and tell each other what we meant to each other.
Edit: just realized that maybe all of this isn’t something I shoulda typed in a RUclips comment. But I already typed it so there it is.
This one made me smile tons - love the content!🙌🏼
I love it! I worked on a horse ranch and had the most fun with these kind of fellas. Salute!
This is my first time seeing a Tommy G. video and I have to say, I'm impressed. Tommy seems very intelligent and well spoken. Subscribing!
This is a great video. I love those types of folks that represent part of the American way
Cant do nothing but respect a man that will protect these youngins no matter the cost. No matter where you from
I love what you said at the end, I needed to hear that.
My dad works in Kingsport at Eastman but we live in coeburn Virginia it’s near Norton and wise

100% when the people come together. That’s what terrifies them divide and conquer, it’s the same here in the UK.🇬🇧
So far I am loving this video! I am a black man from the DMV. The Washington DC area. I feel bad to hear about the chronic drug problem in Eastern Tennessee. He wasn't bullshiting when he said, anyone can come over and have a good time...
I'm glad you touched on the racism issue because people don't realize not everybody in the south is racist
