on the rear pads, do i need to put the thin metal clip that is on the outside of the piston side pad? i got SRT pads and they were thicker...the clip wouldnt let it go on!?
Oh thankyou Ik it’s easy but it’s my first time I was working on my wr426 trying to change the front pads and was wondering why the pads weren’t spreading apart lol 😂 so I took the cap off the bake fluid cylinder thingy and it work cheers bro 🤙🤙🤙
I can’t get my piston on my rear break to go back in I even unhooked the brake fluid line any tips. EDIT: to anyone else’s having this problem just take the whole brake caliper off and put I piece of wood over it and hit it with a hammer and it will go right in
Use a turkey baster or syringe to remove as much as you can from the resevoir. Its all shit after awhile. If you're that deep do it right and remove all the old fluid end to end
ANYONE big nood here, recently I bought a ‘91 kdx125 got ahead of myself while dissasembling it and I cant remember how my front pads were mounted. It’s a system with metal springs, cant seem to find anything on the internet.
Just seeing how that Brake Pad Spring fit into the caliper saved my bacon. I couldn't figure it out to save my life. Thanks for the video!
Glad it helped!
Ha Ha Ha -YEP!!
Thank you, only good guide I've found online
Glad you liked it! Thanks for watching and feedback.
It’s easy but it’s always good to have more info
Great video! For my dirt bike I keep reading everything you showed except there is a device to bleed the brakes so there no air??
Check out the Tusk Brake Bleeder Vacuum Pump Kit: www.rockymountainatvmc.com/parts/tusk-brake-bleeder-vacuum-pump-kit-p
Could you do a video on how to lube your pistons and glider on the calipers?

Something like this Maxima Hi-Temp Waterproof Grease would work great: www.rockymountainatvmc.com/parts/maxima-hi-temp-waterproof-grease-p

This just happened to me, how did you end up getting it out?
@@judassnider I didn’t 💀 it’s still stripped

Just remove the pad pin to remove the pads? I thought there was a clip or something else before the pads could come out, just the pin ?
