    Have you made any of these changes? If so what have you done and what products did you fit?

    Regarding the stock screen, you said the wind was at eye level. Was it shaking your helmet around?
    At 6' 3", what's your inseam? I ask because I'm 5' 11", but have a 3 foot inseam and probably don't sit nearly as high as you. I'm trying to consider if the taller screen is something I should immediately include in the budget.
    Thanks

      Hello Douge. Thank you for your comment 😊
      Yes it did make my helmet shake. The taller screen solved that issue though 😊
      I don’t actually know my inseam but I can measure when I’m home if it helps?

      @@TyresNTorque It's not a big deal. The real measurement would be how high the top of your head is from the seat, which isn't easy enough to be worth the effort.
      Ordering the taller screen seems like a "no brainer"

      For me it is a no brainer 😊 Would you like me to measure that for you? More than happy to do so if it helps 😊

      Hello, I am just using a cheap mic from Currys (link below), is it clear enough?
      If you are interested I have a video showing my full vlogging set up, please let me know what you think 😊

    What unnerves me a bit is when riding the Transalp at high speeds, the big 18 wheelers were disrupting the wind and moving me around. Would the extra deflectors help with that at all?

    • @TyresNTorque
      @TyresNTorque  9 месяцев назад +1

      Hello, to be honest I haven’t really noticed a difference when passing larger vehicles. Having said that, when I did the comparison video this wasn’t something I considered. The wind deflectors do help when riding in a cross wind. So I imagine they should help a little with turbulent air from other vehicles, however I am not 100% sure on this. Sorry I can’t give you a better answer.
      Hopefully someone will read this and give you a better answer 😊
      Are you using a standard screen or a larger one?

    • @daletalaplaya5086
      @daletalaplaya5086 9 месяцев назад +1

      @@TyresNTorque that makes sense, there probably isn’t much that can be done other than get a big heavy GS with the 19” tires.
      I have the standard screen but I am 5’11 not as tall as you. I plan to do the additional wind guards and will let you know if it changes at all.

      It won’t really help. The issue is actually that the bike is pretty light. There are advantages to a heavier bike, one being that they don’t get blown around in the wind as much. It can be a little unnerving, that is for sure but you have to learn to be prepared for it and let the bike float a little. And of course, you can try to avoid the situation all together.

      @@Romenet310 I have learned to just relax and “surf” the wind buffeting but also slow down. The traffic is 85+MPH through that area so when I can I slow to 80.

      @@daletalaplaya5086 yep. That’s what ya gotta do. I just try to avoid it and hold my breath when I have to pass them.
