That Chigee AIO 5 looks to be quite the setup! I just returned a Carpuride 702 because it was unable to make/receive phone calls or text messages. In my car or truck I can easily keep my hands on the wheel and eyes on the road while making or receiving either calls or texts. Additionally Siri will alert via 911 if it detects a crash. Siri does not work at all with the Carpuride 702 that I had. I suspect a faulty unit so I returned it and will order another. Your Chigee looks to be vastly superior to my Carpuride and it would take me some time to save up for one but if it turns out I cannot get the 702 to work for me, I will certainly look into the Chigee and other manufacturer's offerings! It's not an elephant if it doesn't have a trunk. Same with a touring motorbike. Yours is detachable so you have it when you need it! That windscreen made a dramatic difference! Excellent choice, sir! I am both envious of and happy for you getting to take this trip! I had hoped to make a trip to the mid-west of the USA and that may still happen. One of my brothers may accompany me on his Harley Road King or the FLHTP (retired) Police Electra Glide he recently bought himself! If I have difficulty walking and fall he is there not only to help me get back up to but to hopefully catch it on video for the amusement of the rest of our family, LOL! Thank you again and I do look forward to more! SS in commiefornia, USA!
Hi, I also prefer the Chigee, it is so far very reliable. The windscreen is much better than the standard one especially for my hight. I hope you can manage to do your trip, it is much more pleasant if you are riding with your brother and share your impressions. What kind of bike are you riding? Cheers Marc
@@Marc.Stones I would be on my '08 Harley Ultra Classic (with trunk!) and he would most likely be on his '16 FLHTP Police Electra Glide (no trunk! LOL!). If not then his '08 Road King. SS
That's nice that you have also a channel in English 👍 .. Scooteria is great, but reading the subtitles using auto translation makes following the content quite a pain in the ass to be honest .. that's why I've skipped quite a lot :))
Nice mods. Did you watch BigRockMoto's channel when he bought a new Transalp and then modded it with all the tech Honda should have given it - cruise control, much better fully adjustable suspension, tubeless rims? I think he spent around $3 - 3.5k USD making it the bike Honda should have made it. I don't think Honda want it to be too good otherwise it would be better than their flagship Africa Twin which then wouldn't sell.
Top heavy luggage detracts from the riding experience in my thoughts. It is a Motorcycle not a Moving Van... just sayin. All that stuff makes is a heavy draggy beast that falls over on switchbacks. Why??? Thanks for the show. Be safe.
You are right, maybe I should leave the panniers at home and don't do any videos for youtube makes riding more enjoyable 😂 40% of my luggage is camera equipment.
@@Marc.Stones I detect sarcasm. Send your stuff ahead to the destination via courier then you can enjoy and be safe riding the backroads. Motorcycles are difficult enough in traffic etc why make it more so is my thoughts... risk for video is a poor choice with lots of examples of same. Be safe. Thanks for the show.
Looks great, have fun on your road trip!
Thanks a lot ✌
Very useful mods 👍👍👍
As an engineer, I consider Honda Motorcycle reliability 🎨 art.
Nice mods, looking forward to the trip
Thanks 🤙

Would be great if you give us some feedback after using the Chigee Apple Carplay for a while. Good video thanks 👍
Of course I will. Cheers Marc

Yes I watched the channel. I agree, they did not make it better not do influence the sales of their sales of the Africa Twin. 👍🏻
Enjoyed your well thought out video, what height are you?
I am 188 cm
Hi, great video . Do you have a link on the tyre pressure captor you are using?
Hi, I use The AIO 5 www.chigee.com/?dt_id=1785046 www.chigee.com/collections/aio-5play/products/tire-pressure or you can use this one: amzn.to/3XlNaQB
@@Marc.Stones merci Marc.
Hallo Marc, liegt dein Blick eigentlich oberhalb des Windschildes/Spoilers oder schaust du hindurch? Gruß Jörg

Taller windscreen can not provide proper POV I think so
