There are a few details I feel the need to add, that this video didn't include: the use of retarders, footage placing the polarizers, and footage of each chemical under the scope following each slide tutorial in the video and the use of vials to store solutions. I should have this up, as well as some quality improvements in the next couple days. Thank you for bearing with me as I learn how to make my videos better.

Hi, is there a way I can use a normal compound microscope? Like add a polarizer filter to the condenser or something?

Thanks for your time and effort to show this. I am kind of new to this. I assume this only works with a Compound microscope or can a stereo scope be use. Placement of the filters would be helpful ' I do not know if I can even put a filter above the objective 'on top of the condenser yes. Thanks and look forward to more.

I am looking into this interesting topic myself now so your video is very much appreciated. I have one big ask for you: would it be possible to let us know what chemicals the crystals we are seeing in each image starting at 6:12 are made of?

Thank you for the video. Would you please tell me what microscope you used and what magnification used for the images?

I'd rather just buy one already made

Of course this is an option. However the significant savings in this configuration allows more people to access the microscopy technique.
