Well damn, Darkseid DID go for Thanos' head, but in a different way.

Technically there were 5 draws in Death Battle so far (at least if my memory serves me right)
Goomba VS Koopa Troopa- they killed each other
Dr. Eggman VS Dr. Wily- Metal Sonic killed both
Deadpool VS Pinkie Pie- They became friends and threw a party
Chuck Norris VS Segata Sanshiro- They're still fighting to this day
Justin Bieber VS Rebecca Black- Everyone died

Couldn't Chuck vs Segata be considered a 'no contest', as we're not quite sure what happened to them? The most popular theory is that they're STILL GOING, as evidenced by their constellation appearing in several subsequent Death Battles...it's entirely possible they could still show up in another one....

No one who's ever covered this hypothetical match-up before has ever mentioned the most logical outcome:
Darkseid would just use his Omega Beams to teleport the Infinity Gauntlet off of Thanos's hand. Without the Gauntlet there to sustain him against Darkseid, he's screwed.
...next (because he's Darkseid and doesn't believe in killing anyone he can put to good use) he'd use the Anti Life Equation to make Thanos a mindless pawn to conquer galaxies for him in the name of Darkseid
I could certainly imagine him doing that, but the fact is that death battles are a fight to the death.

Thanos's power with the gauntlet is sufficient to equal the omega beams, meaning he could just nullify them - not that it would change the outcome, of course.

Deadpool was the second draw to my knowledge because he and Pinkie Pie decided to stop fighting and became friends.

3. I'm still wishing for a DC and Marvel movie crossover to happen
Crazier things have happened. They'd first have to learn to get along again and DC would have to work on fixing their movies, then I could see it happen. Around the time where Superman vs Spiderman and the rest of the crossover comics were coming out, Marvel and DC weren't really too hateful for each other and their higher ups even played golf together and the companies tended to share writers like Jack Kirby, Steve Ditko, Grant Morrison and the like so there was a point in time where Marvel and DC could talk and be like "Hey, know what would be cool, a big crossover between our companies." Assuming DC makes better movies and they get a better relationship going on I could conceivably see a movie crossover in some capacity, be it animated or live action, they could easily go off of Avengers vs Justice League, the comic for the story with some alterations.

@@Darkshade_01 Yep, its called the Amalgam Universe, created during the Marvel vs DC comic. I actually have a few of those comics myself, the first being Dark Claw who is Wolverine combined with Batman. Seems random but I kinda like the combination.

this fight is insane but with these two crazy titans and I wasn't too sure who would win this one. but I was leaning towards Darkseid and after seeing the research I was going Darkseid all the way because not only does it seem more powerful, but he can do similar things as Thanos with the infinity gauntlet...without the gauntlet. but I wouldn't be upset of Thanos got the win as both are crazy characters.
I didn't expect Deadpool to appear at all but they made it work and I enjoyed that. the fight itself was insane as expected and I am not too upset at seeing Darkseid won.

Looks like Thanos was Omega-Forced to take a loss. Anyway I loved this fight. As for the S6 premiere given Splash was the clue I'm thinking it's Aquaman vs. Namor for obvious reasons. But those colors could hint that the Inkling could be a fighter in the season 6 premiere.

Actually the first draw was the goomba vs koopa
Draws only happen in joke battles like Goomba vs Koopa, Black vs Bieber, Segata vs Norris, etc. Every serious battle has at least one winner, even Eggman vs Wily where while the central characters died, Metal Sonic still won so there was a decisive victor where as the other ones they either all lose or in Segata vs Norris' case, battle for eternity. For serious battles, the winner has to kill the loser or losers if there are multiple characters so there will never be a tie, or at least a full on tie in a serious fight, one person will be left standing at the end of a serious fight.
As for the "splash", I think it might be referring to some sort of water user. Or someone affiliated with water.
