Phil you're the man...but I don't think you were "dead" long enough to know that for sure. Plus, there is literally thousands, if not ten of thousands in the last 100 years alone that have had "near-death experiences" and claim to have seen something, or other. What a pitiful existence to know that there is nothing on the other side of this temporal life. But hey, to each his own....and Pantera is King!

Near death experiences can be explained many ways other than a divine source. Science knows very little about the brain but brain activity does not stop immediatly after death. Keep your mind open to all possibilities, something Christians rarely do.
Phil is egotistical about everything, and no surprise he would have the final word on life and death itself. It's just as egotistical to think we know one way or the other. That said, he could be right, he could be wrong. He doesn't know as he didn't really 'die', as dead is fucking dead, and here he is. They've found in recent studies the brain can survive much longer than Phil was 'dead.' That said, near death experiences (see: DMT) still aren't death experiences either. No one fucking knows because dead is dead, you don't come back to tell the tale.
Nem33 wouldn't you think that the guy who was legally dead for four minutes has a better understanding of it than others who haven't experienced death? I od'd 3 months ago, I was dead for 2 minutes and 45 seconds. I explained it like this: it feels like when ur pit under for surgery. it feels like you closed your eyes for a second.... like a blink. time doesn't exist, that just it. nothing. but if you find comfort and solace in fairytales and mystical nonsense, more power to you. just don't go shitting on those who've spent time in the abyss
