I'm not saying raise the age to 25, I'm sayin the law is in place to redress the power disparity between the two people.
The law does not determine what's right or wrong. It's tangentially related at best.
If it was wrong, it's not because it was illegal - it's because she was just too young.

It is not always that easy. Obviously they shouldn't have killed him but I think it is so complicated when someone is severely abused and they believe that the only way of getting out is for their partner to die (and a lot of times they are right)

Not only under normal circumstances is it extremely hard to leave a abusive relationship but this dude had groomed her as a child. Plus her own father was a sex offender himself. Alot of his abusive actions may have seemed normal to her.

I have been in an abusive relationship. I tried getting out, he tried killing himself in front of me, stalked me, strangled me...I felt trapped...I would watch him sleep and wonder how I could get away with it...I eventually left the state and got out of the situation but its hard and a battle in your head. (He's alive and well far away from me)
But you didn’t kill him despite how hard it was. That’s the right thing to do and this person did the wrong thing

The average number of times the abused leaves the abuser is seven times. It far more difficult than those who are not abused. I found that out, and I've never said anything about someone in an abusive relationship, except to encouragethat person.

My uncle got into a similar gang back around the 50's/60's. He wanted out, that is a no go so he had to die to get away. He changed his name then moved constantly to ensure he wasnt being traced. He just died this year of cancer. I rarely saw him while growing up & was so secretive though i didnt know why & never found it out until i was in my 40's. I still dont know details, just the general context & my mom refuses to give any other details.

Imagine you or someone close to you being put to jail for a murder they didn’t commit and on top of that not being able to ever prove their innocence again in court because they can’t obviously know where the body is. You’re pretty much taking someones entire life away, just without killing them.

Not sure what she uses but I recently bought the Stila “Stay all day” intense black. It’s a bit pricy but it’s lasted months and is very very pigmented

This! Yes. I go for a run every evening and I don’t take my wallet because it would just be another item to hopefully not loose and also just an annoyance when running.. I only have my phone, headphones, and apt key and that’s it.
The amount of times I’ve frustratingly left my house without my wallet is ridiculous, it’s definitely not uncommon.

This is my grandfather.
