For those that don't play guitar this is a very sad day for many young guitars you develop a special bond with your guitar teacher they don't just make you memorize chords or scales but instead gives you the tools you need to express yourself! Which to be honest is how it should be throughout any type of education the main problem you see in many young people is burn out and stress over trying to memorize what they learned for a standardized test instead of how to internalize what they learn and incorporate it into their lives!
I totally believe you on that. My 12 year old brother visited his guitar teacher when he got home from the hospital ❤️ It’s a true bond! Look up Steve Michaels from LaPorte, Indy

@@FunnyDolphin782 came here for this lol. If I'm not mistaken the only note those chords and the F mixolydian "b7" key share is A... Needless to say I'd be impressed with anyone who could pull that off 😂
The first question makes sense. But the 2nd and 3rd questions don't, unless there's theory that I don't understand...? And i know the requests that he makes after the 3rd questions are just jokes.
E flat major #11? He got the triad right and he got the sharp 11, but E natural? If e flat is the root, shouldn't it be called f flat? And wouldn't that be the flat 9? And he didn't say the major 7th, he didn't say d natural.
God the fact that the term simp was around 5 years ago makes me feel old. Geez I remember when that term was still new and edgy/not old and largely sexist (as much as the four terms are distinct)
It's the same as major mode, but instead of the 7th being a leading tone, and being a half step away from the tonic (1st note), it's flatted and a whole step away from the tonic. If you're playing a C-major scale, it would go like: C D E F G A B C If you're playing a C-mixolydian scale, it would go: C D E F G A B-flat C Or, you can just play G to G on all white notes on a piano and you have a mixolydian scale.

It inspired me to play guitar.
Something about the insane learning curve with playing dethklok kinda ended it though.
Aw man that's sad to hear. It really is just straight practice and time. Hope you find the motivation to get back at it someday!
Brendon small started it. Brendon small ended it.
Try again it's really not too bad except some of the more intense leads. Try Go Forth and Die
The intense learning curve on guitar is like crack though, once it start getting through it you never want to put the thing down

Such a good show. Most of em with crappy animation outright sucked, but it fit this one well, it was entertaining.
They were very creative given the medium. I kind of find the art endearing and a reflection of being a kid.
@@fatshibaballs excellent point. Honestly these older shows had adult humor, but a wholesome charm to it that still hit home at points.

F Mixolydian b7? Doesn't the mixolydian scale already have a flat 7?
It does. It makes about as much sense as Marty McFly saying “this is a blues riff in B. Watch me for the changes and try to keep up.”
