Nike's old shit is so timeless. Adidas doesn't have the amount of timeless, ahead-of-it's-time, and innovative retro sneakers like Nike does. Adidas definitely has the future tho.

Emporio Armani makes one that is very similar but it has real tire rubber on the bottom and thicker material. It costs 250$ but it lasts so much longer its actually cheaper. The only shoes I can wear are the one emporio armani makes, ascis ontisuka, and nike cortez.

It's not tts. I have to go a size up. 15 of these are good. 14 nope. So it's not the same fit of af1. Hope this could help someone with big sizes.

@@soulpushmanzanares7028 the size of the shoes varies according to the country (like made in Vietnam, made in Indonesia etc) where it has been made. Because few of my friends who got them shoes told me that they run true to size while a few of them said that they ordered half a size bigger than their usual and I got them in UK 6, which is a whole one size bigger than my usual size. So, I'd suggest you to go and try it in the stores. That's probably the best option I'd say!

Growing up in the 70's and 80's I can remember what Nike Cortezes were...These ain't it....I guess the shoe industry deems it perfectly ethical to call synthetic leather real leather...These things run at least one size too small and don't breathe worth a shit...I was suspicious of this "leather" and ran a soldering iron over it...It melted like ice cream in Hell.
If you buy these thinking you will be getting the old quality Nike Cortezes from the early days,you'll be sadly disappointed.

@@nathanperaza4359 i do have wide feet and I normally wear Nike US size 11. Then i followed these online reviews saying it is better to buy half size bigger and when i walk in these i feel the rear of the shoes falls down (detaches from my feet) at every step, which means they are too big...
