Thank you for showcasing my Budget Iron Man deck. I haven't played Marvel Champions in a while and you definitely inspired me to come back and play the game again.
Thank you for posting it! It really fit the needs of the video, once I realized that I wanted to showcase a deck that only needed one more pack to highlight a Hero's perks.
nice vid bro, love this series! as a point of discussion, I think you're underselling Arc Reactor. IM is usually flipping up into utter mayhem, and being able to ready to do any combination of thwart/attacking to stabilize the board is super valuable, even if it's only for a turn so you can flip back down safely on the following turn. It's probably the only upgrade I've never once mulled away (maybe I just overvalue it lol)
@@Doug4130 That's interesting and I'm happy to hear where I might be wrong with a card. I admittedly only have maybe a dozen games with Iron Man and I don't know how often Arc Reactor has been in play, but it serves multiple purposes, so I might have just overlooked it as extra hand size. I do think in something like Repurpose, it's stock skyrockets. You just need to bump some stats and it's totally worth it.
I agree. I do think people overvalue readies but this is a ready on a stick for one more than a one off ready usually costs. It will often be plinking one onto the villain but it can be clearing stun, clearing confuse, readying so you can recover/after recovering (never defend!!!), pinging a tough status or providing the one extra damage you need to finish off a minion. At that price it doesn't need to be very good. Same with the helmet - I play Hard to Ignore & this is less situational & has a higher upside. Threat removal normally costs more than damage & this is aggressively costed compared to the damage ones. The one I struggle with is the Armour; two Endurance for the price of 2 - it's expensive & has bad tempo. That protection deck is a very good example of an easy "Expansion" deck!. Med team is in the core set though ;)
@@jonathanpickles2946interesting perspective. I overvalue readying the hero, but I love the characters like Quicksilver and events like What Doesn’t Kill Me. Being able to repeatedly do something with the hero FEELS impactful. But you make a great point. This is why I struggle with characters like Ms Marvel-I want her to do the fighting instead of the events
