Are you holding too strongly onto something in your past?

All of my paintings have a general story that they follow. Even though they are dark art oil paintings, they aren't scary. In actuality, they are meaningful and uplifting. You can't have the dark without the light and vice versa. This is the story of the painting called "Letting Go" and what I was thinking when I created it.
