I just picked up the Awareness deck at the St. Louis Curiosities and Oddities Expo. I will bet getting more in the future!

Here's my story for the last three cards: CARD 1 Every morning, the howling wind sounded like the cry of a woman in pain. The legends said that it was the Screaming Tree, and she cried for her lost love. The story told around town was that she was madly in love with her next-door neighbor, Jason. He was handsome, smart, funny and also in love with Melody. The problem was Jason’s mom. She didn’t like Melody, and thought that she wasn’t good enough for Jason. Jason wouldn’t listen to his mom and kept visiting Melody whenever he had some free time. Over time, he became more and more disobedient to his mother. Since she couldn’t get Jason to listen, she invited Melody over for tea to make peace. Instead, she used her magic to turn Melody into a tree and replanted her in the gorge occupied by Death Mists. CARD 2 When Jason found out, he stormed out of the house and went searching for Melody. He asked for help from everybody he knew, but no one wanted to go against his mother. She was too powerful, and they were afraid she would do to them what she did to Melody. Jason came across an old sacramancer who agreed to help. The gorge where Melody was planted was the home of Death Mists and could only be visited by elementals. So, in order for Jason to get there, he had to fuse with an elemental. Jason agreed. The sacramancer extracted Jason’s pure and shadow form. The shadow form was melded with the elemental and his pure form was allowed to wander around the castle. Searching the gorge, he found Melody in a darkened corner and promised he would save her. The sacramancer who helped them could return them to their original form. They would leave the village to create a life of their own. CARD 3 While talking to Melody, Jason’s form emerged from the elemental and, right before he touched her, he froze. In the citadel of the sacramancer, Jason’s pure form was bound to the front yard. Whenever someone approached the citadel, Jason told them to halt and asked why they were there. If they were threatening, he became bright white and blinded the intruders. The sacramancer smiled at Jason’s pure form. Best deal he had ever done. He got a permanent guard and Jason got to see his girlfriend. That will teach his ex-wife a lesson.

Here's the story that I came up with for the last three cards: CARD 1 Malice woke up in the morning and stared into the mirror. In the beginning, when she was disfigured, she would just cry and never leave her bed. All the mirrors in her house were removed and she wouldn’t dare go outside. Time moved on and she had to make a choice. Keep hiding away from the world or step out into it. But, it was so hard. She couldn’t face the look of fear in Jamlach’s eyes faces when it first happened. CARD 2  Every morning, Jamlach would beat himself up. His life was consumed with the idea that he just wasn’t strong enough. He remembered the day the stranger threw acid at Malice. He remembered seeing someone rapidly running to them with a jar in his hand. He knew what was going to happen, but did nothing to stop it. He was a weak man, and he failed the woman he cared about. He wouldn’t be weak any more. CARD 3 Every night, Jamlach would come over to Malice’s place and ask to be let in. She wouldn’t let him in because she always remembered how he looked at her. Jamlach couldn’t stop from coming over because he wanted her forgiveness about how he had failed.  This night, though, he brought a special mirror that he spent his life's savings on. He hoped that it would be enough. The mirror was a special one that reflected the inner beauty of the viewer no matter what they physically looked like. If the one looking into the mirror was strong enough, they could swap places with the image. He hoped that this would work for Malice because, before the accident, she was the strongest and most caring person he had ever known.

So, here's the story idea I came up with for the last 3 cards at the end of the video. CARD 1 Something was wrong. Balthazar was making his usual rounds to ensure his border was protected. Most nights, this was an easy trip but, tonight, he could smell something in the air that reminded him when he was a pup. CARD 2 During his rounds, he came across a man floating above the lake. When he approached the lake, a fish came out. “What have I found with my lure today?” the fish. “No-one but the master of this domain. Who are you?” responded Balthazar. “Child. Don’t be so presumptuous. I’m the master of these waters. I was here long before you and your father and your father’s father. Since you are the master here, I demand my payment. You are to being me the carcass of 5 men so that I may sleep for another hundred years. Otherwise, I’ll poison all of the water in ‘your domain’ if it is not done within a fortnite.” Before Balthazar could respond, the fish dropped below the surface. CARD 3 Balthazar didn’t like being ordered by anyone but didn’t know what to do. He captured the bodies of 5 men and prepared them for the fish. While prepping the bodies to be brought to the lake, a winged stranger appeared. He could take the form of a man and offered to take the place of one of the bodies. He showed Balthazar how he could burst into flames. He would kill the fish as long as Balthazar promised to give up one of his children. He agreed since there was one cub who Balthazar didn’t care for. After killing the fish, the winged stranger collected his prize and took the cub. Years later, the cub returns.
