I'm pretty sure I mentioned that vocal coaches around the world are saying that (and I tend to take their word for it since I am not a singer myself). The only reason I bring up Mariah is because one often hears from reactors to Dimash, "That's a Mariah Carey note." Since Mariah doesn't have his range (and since her voice is so unpleasant to me) I am sometimes motivated to point out that range difference to those who are not sophisticated enough to recognize it. That's all. I'm done with this thread, though.
